Would you be able to make an adapter for going from 1 1/4 inch ?

All three companies make the adapters you require, whether it is Hardin marine, Stainless marine or Teague marine. They will make it if they don't have Though they are pricey, they are worth the money.

The Shields marine hose 250-175 mm would be useful to me The number 1140 is 1 I see this in the picture, but it says 1144 in the advertisement? In the advertisement or on the inside, there are no dimensions. ?

The inside diameter of this hose is 1/4 inch. The raw water intake hose is used for this type of system. You can also use it for exhaust, but not the entire length. It is very flexible, and the rubber has a wire wrap embedded in it so that it can be used as an exhaust if necessary. The hose is dependable and makes a great product.

It fits perfectly, feels nice to touch, and has a nice, flexible feel. You can do this with a hacksaw if you have one too, but it is easy to do with a saw.
