I found out it is not stainless steel as advertised. Too bad, it came out it is not stainless steel as advertised. I will stick to my magnet fast.

They were used to repair transmission lines on my pickup that were rusted. I replaced 90% of my steel lines with high quality rubber hose because I was tired of constant leaks (and had to rebuild my trans after it went completely dry while driving). The following note applies When cutting out a section of steel line and placing it with hose, you need to flare the ends so that it cannot slip off. Even the strongest clamping system can fail in the event of this. Ensure that the hose used is hydraulic fluid-rated. In my reading, I read that these clamps will not loosen up and will hold better than the average hose clamp. The only thing I'm concerned about is the thin square nut that the bolt/screw goes into. There is very little thread on these thin nuts to hold the bolt in place. I have not experienced any leaks but from my past experience as a one time mechanic and lifelong fixer of anything, a thicker nut with more thread would provide better protection. They are 5/8 of an inch when they are fully The fractions do not add up. The outside diameter of my hose was 5/8, so it was difficult to slide the caps I am not complaining, I simply wanted to let you know.

Those clamps are great because they are corrosion-resistant! This is what I use on my Jet Ski and it works All four parts fit very well and show no signs of corrosion even after a full summer of riding

Comparatively, the clamps available on this website are better than those in retail stores or other online stores. These clamps are claimed to be made from 304 stainless steel by Glaks. The answer is yes. These clamps are excellent. I would recommend them without a doubt.
