I'm not sure if it fits your car, but I believe it does. Take a look at the old man. This is a small, narrow hose that measures only 5-inches in length. 6 inches in length

Is this a radiator hose for upper coolant? Is it compatible with a Grand Am 3 from the year 2002?

This isn't a hose for your radiator. The term "bypass hose" refers to a smaller, narrower hose. It measures approximately 5 inches in length.

Solved . The part was original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and it was a perfect fit. There was a small leak there, and I was able to fix it. Rather than attempting to repair this with bulk hose, it is definitely worth purchasing the correct item.
