This is the third bypass hose I've purchased for my Cruze, and this one works and doesn't leak at the connections. This replacement has been redesigned to combine the plastic parts into a single piece, removing the inconvenient two-part connection to the water outlet that would not seal. I even spent a lot of money on this simple connection that Chevy did a poor job designing because I thought the one I had previously replaced had somehow changed shape. If your coolant bypass hose is leaking, buy this product instead of the GM design; it works!.
The coolant overflow line that connects to the engine cooling manifold in the 2015 Chevy Cruze was replaced with this, which fit perfectly. It completely eliminated the need for a nipple clip, which is usually required. Make certain to get rid of the old o- ring and inspect for any debris from the old connector's dry rotted plastic that may have been left behind.
Excellent hose replacement; It was necessary to use a wire clip from a previous hose; There was no wire fastening clip included in the package. Then I dropped a wire clip, which I couldn't find! The problem was solved by cutting a piece of wire from a garden fence. I looked for a wire clip on the internet but came up empty-handed. Make-up from the past I completed the task. Unfortunately, there was no replacement wire clip included with the hose. It is, however, a fantastic hose.
A 2-inch hose from the factory was used. On the end of this hose, there was a piece connector that was a complete waste of time. This hose fits perfectly and eliminates the need for that obnoxious connector that is never snug enough. After looking at it, I found it simple to put on myself.
This is how the hose connector should've been designed by GM. It makes perfect sense to replace a two-piece connection with a single-piece connection. It took less than 10 minutes to replace and stopped a leak that had been bothering me for weeks. In a heartbeat, I would purchase again.
A new hope was ordered in the hopes of better luck.
Perfect fit, Chevy thought they could get away with charging us $61 for this insignificant hose, but thanks to companies like this that care about their customers, we can save time and money. I highly recommend this. If you're looking for a unique way to.
