The product looks pretty much the same as it does in the picture. This garment has absolutely no finishing or finishing at the ends, and it has a little spread. *1/2 of it from either end would have to be removed to make it perfect.
I was disappointed that there were several snags along the length of the cord. Since the item is packaged in plastic, it is unlikely that this happened during transit. There will be blemishes on a perfect hose cover if you are looking for a perfect one. You might want to pull it in like a snagged sweater if you plan to spend 8 hours tracing tiny wires. I wish you the best of It's because of this that the review was given three stars. However, I was not covering a hose with it, I was using it to strain brew water in a I did not mind a few creases and snags here and there as long as it served its purpose. Although it is not a perfect product, for the price it is quite good. Show cars aren't likely to be used for this. It wouldn't be an option for me. The packaging was perfect and the supplier did not have any problems.
A few hoses I only got to use once before the gray rats claimed a few more. No longer, I use the stainless braided hose cover to protect the propane grill hose (the high pressure variety without a regulator), which is thin enough to slide over the smaller end, and its steel braid appears to keep the tree rats from eating it up. Even though replacing the hoses at $20+ per pair is annoying enough, the idea of that leaking propane igniting was enough for me to use this cover to protect it. In regards to what it is, it's not perfect the ends are frayed, there is a pin going through it in the package but it doesn't affect it functionally, so I wouldn't use this for an application like a show car.
My propane gas line on my BQ grill was squirrel proofed using the above method. It was not successful, no matter how hard they chewed it. We now need a squirrel dentist for the scurfy little bast#rds!.
There may be more to this than just a dress It's more likely to be listed as an up item. The sleeve in this picture does not give me enough confidence that it will reinforce the hose, but I do not know anything about preformed sleeves Hoses that have been built. The same looseness may apply to both. In spite of the best efforts, this is still a bit loose
I'm not certain the instructions are accurate. When cutting it to length, you're instructed to wrap the ends with electrical tape to prevent fraying. Unless it's applied specifically, there is no way I can use the Magnapack in my case It was intended that the tape on the hose end would allow enough expansion for reattaching the heater hose to its fitting after the hose was clamped. The length you get may vary depending on the size of the hose you use, but I got more useable length than they specify just using the recommended hose sizes. An easy installation of the sleeve onto the hose is in order.
The mustang I used it on performed well. Thick quality braid is exactly what I was looking for.

This product is easy to install and looks great. If you are not sure of your size, you might be better off being a little larger rather than struggling with a tight fitting shoe.
