I purchased this primarily to quiet cabin noise because a sound tube/generator comes with every Subaru BRZ (2016 model). As I looked into sound tube deletes, I tried plugging the cabin noise connection with a 12V plug, but that didn't really make a noticeable difference. The one I have just so happens to come with an intake hose that improves airflow and claims an increase of 5 hp as well. There was not much labor involved in the install, most of it was removing the old hose from the old motor and putting the new one on. The tube to hold the sound generator was not included. When paired with a high flow air filter, cleaned up the engine bay and made barely noticeable improvements to performance. Despite this, I had to replace the clamp for the air sensor because the filter was too large. It doesn't even bother me because I can't stand clamps you have to hold with pliers (I forget the technical name), so it's not like I'm losing out. Here are a few pro tips It is actually just a matter of unscrewing the sound generator box and removing it completely from the car when you install it. The tube is held in place by just two small plastic bits and it comes out easily. If you look under the glove box, you will see a small hole from where the tube led. As it is tucked far away from sight, I applied duct tape over it to make it unnoticeable. Noise in the cabin has been reduced You can now hear the actual noises the engine makes.

Since I bought the hose, it has been sitting in my closet for quite some time. According to its description, this product works. I was able to improve the throttle response of my car as well as the induction noise. In addition, my engine bay appeared It is a very tight fit on some sections, which is the only issue I have with it. In general, the product performs as expected. It is made of quality materials and does what is said it would.

It really cleaned up the engine bay and without the sound generator tubes, it looks so much better. This is what I read in the R&B There is a D thread on this part, and they mention that the resonator on the bottom side of the tube was actually helpful, so this is one of the few parts with the resonator. Fits like a glove, and is of great quality. It would be highly recommended.

The first performance enhancing mod anyone should do is this one if they're running bone stock. It may not increase performance by 20whp, but you'll notice a noticeable difference in how your car breathes when you install one! In the next stage of my build, I will install a cold air intake.

It does what it is supposed to do. This car feels more responsive and it was very cost-effective to buy it from Amazon Warehouse. A used rating was given to it I am fine. like it just came out of the box.
