A crack in the original hose caused the vehicle to fail the emissions test in California, so the shop wanted to replace it for a fee. The battery came from an online store and I installed it I had no problems installing it, it fit perfectly, and it resolved my emission issue. Dorman is known for making pretty good aftermarket parts, based on my experience.
Dorman 696, 1017. The intake hose on our mazda MPV van had a leak and we needed a new one so we bought the 718 air intake hose, and it worked great! Worked just like it should and fits exactly like OEM. The price is a lot less than from Mazda!.
We discovered that the old hose on our MPV had broken, resulting in a variety of issues, such as low oil pressure (driving low idle due to air leaks) and a A computer diagnostic could not find the split, and it was difficult to follow the split If the CEL returns following our recent purchase of the new/old MPV, this will be the first thing to look for. I couldn't even change the air filter with the original intake hose because it was so thick. As compared to the old Dorman hoses, the new ones were a lot more flexible.
Even though it's not exactly the same as the original, it does fit, but you need to play with it a bit to figure out how to install. I had to take quite a long time to install and configure it Unfortunately, the task has been completed. I would have preferred if the original was more flexible, although it still fits and functions This is the most important thing.
V6 0 0 0 0. It was slightly larger on the throttle body end than the original, but the clamp held it firmly in place. It was actually easier to install this way. I would recommend it.
A patch was applied to fix a P2189 error caused by a crack in the rubber intake hose on a A basic set of hand tools was sufficient to install the system in roughly 30 minutes. CRC cleaner was also used to clean the MAF sensor and replace the air filter. The first thing you need to do if you failed your state emission test is check this.
It was a problem with my van but it's now fixed.
I found a big hole in this hose in my mom's Mazda MPV 2003, after she began power surging and consuming so much fuel. The check engine light came on for lean exhaust code. They said it would be like $80 for parts stores. However, I found this part for just $17 and shipping was just $8. I'll never be able to beat that. Now, her car is running like new again.
