Is this part compatible with a Brookside RV from 2008?

The T84's hubs are designed to be glued over 3" pipe, and the T84's overall width is 11". 950".

What is the best way to connect this valve to the sewer line? Isn't it true that they're both male connectors?

Valterra T84 valves are assembled hub by hub. It terminates in a bayonet made to connect a bayonet cap or sewer hose, and the hub is female to glue over 3" ABS pipe.

The black tank is connected to one end, while the waste station is connected to the other. So, what is the purpose of the upper outlet that connects the two gate valves?

The black tank is connected to one side (gate valve), the grey tank is connected to the other side (gate valve), and the center outlet is the drain to which you should connect your sewer hose so that everything can drain.

Is it fully assembled when it's delivered?

It's completely put together. You'll be all set if you apply ABS glue to your gray and black water pipes. Disassembly to install in place is something I would avoid. The seals make it difficult to put everything together in the right place.

Replace the collar after it has been properly matched

I kept the gray water side flange, which made replacement a breeze; however, the black water side collar, which was 6 years old and cracked, needed to be replaced. The valves were smooth and returned to their original positions. I rinsed the black tank several times and found it to be relatively odorless.

The OEM valve has been replaced with this valve. Replacement is simple and quick. At the same time, you should replace the rubber sleeves, which are the Valterra rubber sleeves F02-. 2103.
