Questions & Answers

I'm curious about the manufacturing location of this component. ?

Mine was sent to me from the Republic of Korea.

This indicates that it will not fit my vehicle, but mood indicates that it does. I'm not sure who to trust. Is this going to fit a 2013 Chevrolet Avalanche 4WD?

I'd go with the Moog site because I just looked it up on Advance Auto and it showed the same part for your vehicle. br>I installed it on a 2009 Silverado 4x4, and it appears to fit my 2010 Tahoe as well.

Is there a warranty on this hub? I've had a rubbing noise after pulling the camper to the lake for about a month. ?

I purchased a Moog wheal bearing, which was defective right out of the box. Moog has not responded to my emails or phone calls regarding the problem. I tightened my wheal bearing to specs and took it to a local shop to make sure it wasn't broken. I've decided to stick with Napa parts for the time being. There are three versions available from Napa: basic, standard, and heavy duty. MOOG, you've been warned!

Is this compatible with a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado Z71 4x4?

Sorry, I don't know if it will fit perfectly in my 2010 suburban, but I did call Moog and they were very helpful, so why don't you call them?

This isn't what I was expecting from Moog
3/5

I'm beginning to doubt my commitment to Moog. These were purchased for a full front end rebuild on a 2011 Suburban. The wheel speed sensor failed after only a month and less than 5000 miles. Moog refused to honor the warranty and referred the matter to Amazon. Amazon sent me a new one despite the fact that it had passed the return deadline. Due to the time and effort required to replace the entire assembly, I requested reimbursement only for the wheel speed sensor. Amazon has been supportive, but Moog has been less so.

Fits perfectly on the base AWD model of the 2009 Cadillac Escalade! Exceptional quality
5/5

The front left wheel made the first noise. The lights for the anti-lock brakes and traction control were illuminated. Moog is on par with, if not better than, OEM in terms of sound quality. It's better than stock, according to the mechanic. I went to the MOOG website and saw two parts, one for RWD and one for AWD, of which this was the AWD part. RWD might work as well, but I wouldn't rely on Amazon's part finder solely. I had my truck towed to my mechanic, and I had this part shipped to them. The following day, it arrived. The speed sensor was installed, and the ABS and traction control lights were turned off. It now drives like new, and the brake pedal was slightly less soft after this installation for some reason, indicating that there was a lot of movement. For installation, I received two quotes. Each hub costs between $125 and $150. There is only one hub included with this item. I bought both front hubs; you don't have to buy both, but I did because I had never replaced them in 144k miles. If you only have 75k miles or less, I wouldn't have done both. The total cost of the work was $300. I live in a city, so rural areas will almost certainly have lower labor costs. If you have a good jack or lift and a 2x4 to knock it off after unbolting, it's free. I didn't have either. For parts and labor, the thiefship demanded more than $2500. Thank goodness for Amazon, which can come in handy at times. I hope this information is useful to you.

WARNING: BEWARE OF BULK BUYING DEALINGS Someone is clearly not inspecting the items that have been returned
3/5

Someone appears to have kept the new part and returned the old one, which appears to be in even worse condition than mine.

2012 Suburban 4WD, in excellent condition, and relatively simple to install if you have the necessary tools
5/5

The replacement of both front hub assemblies took about 3 hours. There are less expensive hubs, but I've had them fail before (lesson learned). If you haven't done this before, there are some good YouTube videos available. 3/hub bolts 133 ft lbs, 2/brake assy bolts 100 ft lbs, axle nut 177 ft lbs, according to the information I found.

Although the product is good, the packaging and shipping are inadequate
3/5

Mine was ready to use right away. broken. As is customary with Amazon, it combined this order with several other small items I ordered for the installation (in separate orders on purpose), resulting in this wheel hub floating around in a huge box. When the part arrived, the wheel studs were poking through the OEM MOOG box, indicating that it had been tossed around a lot. The ABS sensor wire had broken plastic clips that held it in place. I didn't want to ask for a refund because I had a tight deadline, so I decided to warn others instead. The product itself is fantastic, but I'm going to buy it locally so I know it won't arrive looking like it was thrown down six flights of stairs.

Always a positive experience

update. On stock vehicles, I usually get well over 100k miles from moog parts. I installed these on a 2013 Suburban LTZ 4x4 and they lasted as long as I torqued them down to proper specs and didn't drive like a pissed off teenager. br>br>Newsflash- The passenger side is beginning to sound as if it is about to fail. I'm guessing these aren't the same Moog parts I've been using for a long time. I'm still a Moog fan, but I've had parts ordered from Amazon turn out to be fake before. When it comes to Moog brand parts, I'll be sticking with Summit Racing Parts. I'd like to express my gratitude to Amazon for accepting returns of defective parts and issuing a refund.

Assembly of a Tahoe wheel hub Pre- My 2007 Tahoe's RH Wheel Bearing was found to be failing during an inspection prior to an extended road trip
5/5

I placed an Amazon order for a replacement. In two days, I had my meal. (I was not in a hurry. ) The old hub was removed and a new one was installed. Fit perfectly with no issues, and the entire job was completed in less than two hours. br>Had a great time driving 1800 miles. I'm very happy.
