They may only differ in performance due to the fact that they were made in One of them didn't have a dust cover to accompany it, but it was present on the other. marked with MOOG 515054 part numbers and, on the surface at least, appear to be There is a difference even in the clips on the ABS cable. Based on my online investigation, I found that there are different looking parts with the same part numbers depending on where they are purchased. As a result, I'm returning the one without the dust cover. I will seek out another with a dust cover and order it. far as performance goes, based on other reviews, I predict these will be fantastic.
I was able to install these Moog 515054 Wheel Bearing assemblies without a problem. The bags are different than the originals on the back, but a label explaining the difference is placed on the bag. The parts were originally from Korea, and they had the Moog name and the part number on the hub. I'm guessing that the differences in the two caused some people to question whether they had the right parts. There is not much packaging with them, which makes them heavy. There was one sticking out of the side of the box even though the box was not broken. I like the quality of the lug bolts, and the hardened rust-resistant steel bolts seem to be on par with the original (hardened to resist rust). It will be seen in due time. As long as I get 100k miles out of them (as I did with the originals), we should be fine. Because the original lock sensor cable already had the original clips attached, it is not possible to preserve them. I loved the length and how well it fit.
There was no packaging in the box and the box was open. One of the moog boxes was ripped open when I received it. As I inspected the parts, I found them to be in good condition.
This is the third set of front bearings I have installed My stock lasted for over 300,000 miles, and I bought something called an "economy" brand that didn't even last These are my last miles and I hope to pass 500K. It looks as if they are strong.
I have mounted the system perfectly, and it is very quiet. A dramatic reduction in rumble has been achieved. I even had all of the required mounting tabs on my cable, which made this an exact replacement for my tryck.
A good quality bearing hub is used in these bearing hubs. You should be careful when buying cheap hubs. I used these on a 2005 Chevrolet Suburban LT 1500 and found that the cheaper ones fail much faster than better quality hubs. Installing them was surprisingly simple, as there are three bolts that keep them in place. To make sure your vehicle's brakes and hubs are torqued according to the specifications, make sure all bolts are tightened. As well as the ABS wheel sensors, these hubs have a jack and a stud. The old hubs I had lasted 135000 miles, so I expect these to last the same amount of time.
The hub assemblies on my 2002 Silverado 2WD 4 are the third set I've purchased. You should stick to the $8 and don't go for the cheap ones. They won't last. You can ask anyone who has ever bought a set of cheap assemblies, and they'll likely tell you that you'll have to do it again in a short while.
It fits perfectly on my 2003 Silverado 1500 RWD. I am 40 years old and I am I used a hammer and it worked well).
It is very Cheaper ones only lasted 30K before they began to sound like they were leaking.
