It fell off when I was installing and I am fairly certain that this is not supposed to happen, so I had no choice but to continue installing. I only have one vehicle so I can safely say that it was poorly made-at least one of them is.
Each of these items cost 89 cents at Autozone and Oreily. On the driver's side of my front wheel, there was a strange rattling and grinding sound. When I noticed the OEM had broken into two pieces, I knew, it wasn't the CV axle or the wheel bearings, which are notorious for falling apart. Sure enough, when we took everything apart, I found it had broken into two It was replaced with this one and it is a great replacement, there is no more noise and the 4WD works The package includes pre-greased screws, but I was able to add even more grease. There were a lot of reviews that said this is the reason they break or go out. Just as my OEM did, they get water inside and the diaphragm slowly dries out until it breaks.
I'm curious to see if it turned out to be a good idea. These parts were produced by Ford Motor Co. The item was the exact same as one manufactured by Ford Motor Company. Located in the right spot, the equipment and equipment pieces fit perfectly. After a short test drive, it was found to operate correctly and there were no issues. This is the first aftermarket Hub Actuator installed on the vehicle, but the original Ford parts had already been replaced twice It was only possible to get Ford parts to last 35k miles It will take me at least eight years before I fail, so I will come back to this article in eight years We are waiting for an update after 10 months to see if this part has outlived its original manufacturer. Previous generations.
The unit must be disassembled to be installed. In contrast to the worn out part that I had replaced, the vacuum locking hub in this replacement leaked worse. It is a copy of China. It is better to get it from FOMOCO if you can get it from an OE supplier.
For my 2014 Ford Expedition EL, I bought two of these. Nothing was wrong - they were able to bolt right up. Their short lifespan resulted in them failing again after about 50 miles. I agree with them both. If you like to take your front end apart every 50 miles, this product is not for you. The rest of the parts are pretty bad, you should stick with OEM.
It has fit great and there were no issues installing it except for the fact that the old one was in pieces.
I used it on my 2004 Ford F150 and it worked well. I appreciate the fast shipping and the great price.
fit my 4x4 and work well, and I liked the price, although I haven't had to use them yet.
