Questions & Answers
I had a 2005 Chevy Silverado 1/2 with standard 17-inch wheels and 6-bolt lugs. These are identical to OEM equipment in terms of fit and finish. Just in case you round one off like I did, I recommend ordering the new mounting bolts with them. It will prevent you from having to go to the parts store later.
These are for chevy pickup trucks.

One of them had the same dent as the other and other people's postings when it arrived. Seriously, it appears to be the same bearing as shown in one of the other images in these reviews. I returned it and received one that seemed to be in good working order. They worked well for about a month after being installed. One of them has already begun to squeak due to a lack of grease in the packed bearings. How is it possible to make a wheel bearing hub assembly without including grease? I returned the defective one and received a refund; now I'll see how long the remaining one lasts. I'll post an update if I have any problems with it.
Be wary of the seller. The bearing is satisfactory and reasonably priced, but it does not correspond to the image. The bearing in the picture has a threaded point for securing the rotor to the bearing with the starbit screw, but the one they sent doesn't. Beware of the seller; I've placed other orders with them that have been complete disasters in terms of quality and customer service.
It was a perfect fit for my 2004 Yukon XL. The mechanic estimated that replacing a faulty wheel bearing would cost $430. Thank God, one of my neighbors has a strong mechanical aptitude. He told me to go ahead and get the part, and he'd see what he could do about installing it. He only needed 20 minutes to complete the task. I've seen him perform other repairs, and this one was a breeze. The only difficult part was loosening the lug nuts or other parts that required a large wrench (mine were rusted together, so it took some muscle). br>It's been a little over a month since it was installed, and it's been performing admirably. br>It only cost me $60 and a case of beer for the next-door neighbor! Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank Thank you so much, Amazon!.
Great company with a price that is more than half of what all the local parts stores are charging. I could have gotten two from Amazon for the same price as one from the parts store, and Detroit Axel is also higher quality. Because it was just installed two days ago, I can't speak to its longevity, but based on my previous experience with Detroit Axle, I've already recommended them for their quality and low price.
This unit was easy to set up. It was more difficult to remove the original factory-installed part than it was to install this one. So far, everything seems to be going swimmingly. It is a good deal. It isn't the cheapest, and it isn't manufactured in China. Detroit is where it's at.
Great parts for the money, great team, and reliable parts. I only had one issue after years of buying from them, and I mean years, not months. After 9 years of using their products, I can confidently state that I am fully satisfied with everything I have purchased.
I placed an order for two. 1 oh, the parts were damaged when they arrived. If they fix it, I'll change my opinion.
It appears to be of good quality, and the fitment was satisfactory. So far, everything appears to be in order; however, only time will tell. According to what I've read, it comes with a ten-year warranty, so you should be covered for quite some time.
