My initial practice was to grease the slip yoke and remove the drive shaft every couple of months. After being that way for quite a while, I finally gave in and bought another slip yoke, along with some new universal joints. I still had the same issue. Apparently the rear seal of the transfer case is leaking freon, so I ordered a new one. My hope was to kill two birds with one stone, but I didn't want to get my hopes up. However, everything worked out fine in the end! I not only solved my leak issue with the new seal, it eliminated my annoying drive line clunk as well. I am happy with my purchase!.
I really like the way it worked. Due to not having the right tool, we ended up installing it with a filter housing socket that came with a Toyota Corolla.
As far as I can tell, the fit is great, and the price is great.
Worked well and was easy to install.
The part is good for the price.
I like that it works.
This is the perfect match for my Escalade 02-6.
