, from the SE Toyota line. There is proper material out there, but it is just a self-help book The foam strip adheres to the adhesive A rubbery material. It worked out to be 1/4" polypropylene backing, which I ended up using - A rod (retailers of home improvement supplies) and super glue will work The glue needs to be removed. Dry it on as much as you can and it'll be fine It sets up when the glue and baking soda are combined If a goof happens, it will show up immediately and can take time and effort to remove. If you want to use self-adhesive foam, you can do that, too The weather stripping is made out of rubber. The only downside is that it is not as oil-resistant as polypro', and I would also suggest using super glue to help it stick to the corners, ends, and bends of the timing cover.

There is no way this is what is shown in the picture

It has been a good experience with the O seals they sent me. It is not at all the molded rubber seal that was shown or described in the picture.

This disappointed me a lot

I purchased brand new covers along with the gasket kit and cleaned the covers with alcohol, let them dry, and then applied the gasket. It fell off the first time I picked it up because the adhesive on this item was crappy. On top of that, the crankshaft retaining gasket didn't fit, so I had to buy Save your money. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

There are just strips of rubber that cover the upper and lower timing belts and they are not fitted at all

An alternative could have been a high-temperature silicone gasket maker, which would be less expensive.

This applies only to Toyota 5sfe 4cyl models from 1995 or earlier

I returned it since it did not fit my 1999 Camry - Quality Aisin parts, but it did not fit my camry - According to Amazon parts, the otherwise stated would be the case. Finding your way. It would be great if I could bypass the sticky - I originally purchased the soft foam dust seals to tape them, but ended up getting lucky that the ones I got adhered.

It does not look like the product in the In order to accurately match the shape of timing cover gaskets, the covers should be manufactured according to specifications. Upon closer inspection of the photos, you can see that the SKT-70 has been installed On a SKT-003, place a label with the 003 code I believe that is for an earlier Toyota model number 007, I think. It is not fair to criticize the quality of AISIN automotive parts, because it is a very good company. The label is just a different one and it seems another customer was tricked by someone trying to fool them. Now this is not something I want.
