Selected User Reviews For Honda Civic Accord O-Ring 14.8x1.9 Genuine Parts 91370-SV4-000
I installed this to fix the problem. The O Ring in my power steering pump was broken but it was a complete ring rather than rounded. If you hear noise or leak from your power steering pump, check the O Ring for any fractures first. The easy way to figure out whether the problem is with the pump itself or the O Rings is to use this tool. Here are the tools you will need to finish the installation To remove the old O Ring, you will need 3/4" ratchet and 10mm socket, a small pick or flat head screwdriver, shop rag or towel to prevent any fluid from getting on the drive belt, and brake cleaner before and after you install the belt.
An unfamiliar whining and bubbling sound was coming from my Honda element. When I researched the issue, I found some people suggested there was air in the power steering line. I needed a new one if that is the case It's likely that there will be some fluid within the steering ring. I bought both, followed instructions I found on YouTube, and it seems to have worked well. Although I am no mechanic, this was a fairly simple fix for me to perform.
It was right after I replaced the O-ring that the horrible sound stopped A genuine fluid has been added to the rings.
My 2007 Honda Ridgeline fits perfectly with this part.
No more leaks at the power steering pump.
