I'm glad I had this item in my watch list. I've been pb blasting my ute for days. The past couple of years I opted to use joints instead of an o because I didn't want to spend the usual $330+. The part was a factory part (and I didn't want to risk installing an aftermarket product that might affect the alignment), but with the arrival of a baby in a few months, my wife insisted I replace the part before she gives birth to him. Despite a suspected one-day shipping time, the part and price met expectations, and the shipping ended up taking only two days instead. It was only two weeks, so that was fantastic! I was able to install this part with my dad in less than an hour after watching a great YouTube video. By purchasing the part on here alone, I saved hundreds of dollars, and I was able to install it myself for another hundred dollars. The seller is to be thanked for offering an option. A reasonable price that everyday people can afford is the key to success.
When I tried steering, the F150 acted as if it had a belly in it. When I read a few mechanisms' reviews, I thought I would be doing a rebuild of the power steering system. The salt on the roads here in Pennsylvania didn't agree with these universals, and there was a need to replace them. I installed it easily, but there are no bolts included with the kit. You'll get a lot more done with a pair.
Before starting, I used a tight grip on the steering wheel and the result was that the steering wheel alignment is still perfect.
I installed the kit on my 2012 F150 super crew with no issues. The installation was fairly easy and straightforward. This kit solved my problems with my steering wheel binding up and not turning smoothly. I'm happy with how things have turned out thus far!.
I think I spent an extra $5 on this, and it is worth it.
Parts that were replaced seem to be the same OEM parts that were The new one is expected to last the same amount of time as the previously installed I have the F- for 2010 A vehicle that has driven 150 to.
Wasn't sure if the shaft I replaced had a bad rack or if I had a bad rack on my 2014 F150. It was occasionally difficult for the steering to turn Even though I removed the old shaft and it didn't seem to be binding at all, I threw the new one into the machine for safety reasons. That was the solution to the problem. This repair will take 10 minutes.
The fit is perfect, and the installation is simple.
