Selected User Reviews For Genuine Honda 36172-P08-015 Solenoid Base Gasket
In the event that your Honda VTEC solenoid leaks, this gasket is just what you need. That's how the gasket is made and packaged by Honda. The gasket is the correct one for your solenoid to base mount only if your Honda has a VTEC engine from 2001 and older, because your Honda dealer will not show this as a replacement part and will try to sell you the This works on the B series VTEC engines as well. I have just replaced the solenoid and gaskets on my wife's 98 Civic as well as my 2000 Integra, and both are no longer.
ordering for a Honda Prelude of the 5th generation The gasket part number is 361 Italics in original There is a solenoid that sits on top of the VTEC valve, which connects to number 015. In case the gasket with the screen that goes between the valve and the motor is needed, you can This is P13. Always go with OEM if you want a good deal. Hondabond can be used at the corners of the joints. The Honda CR-V is awesome and you can enjoy it for a long time.
I used this part on the Solenoid base of my 1997 Honda Civic EX Sedan. I did not have any more leaks after using this solution. The seals on your civic Vtec solenoid of the 1990s need to be changed if you have never done so. Without the screen, this is the one. Unless you have one with a screen, this is the wrong one.
Shipped in a hurry, genuine Honda part. This specific gasket will not fit my 2003 S2000, which is my only complaint. Based on a review of this item, it appears to be a good fit, but it isn't. A picture of the actual item would help me decide whether or not to purchase.
I used it for my 1998 Honda Civic EX with no problems. The entire V-series was not up to par An employee had previously overtightened the mounting bolts when he was working on the tec valve, so it ended up needing replacement.
I would recommend the OEM brand new part, very easy to install and does what it is.
I like it.
A 2002 Honda Civic.
