I cannot use it with the ratchet I have

I was able to fit the part into the bearing nut, but the ratchet would not work. The pipe wrench worked just fine for me. It was better than trying to do this without the tool to fit.

The best thing you can do is grind

I gave it a 3 because I didn't have any ratchets or extensions that fit in the socket, but it did get the job done. To fit the extension in the socket, I had to grind it down.
