Genuine GM Parts 15040331 Retainer

Whenever you replace the bumper with part 15769308, you will need this part. I have a 2006 Suburban and the rims fit perfectly. Voici une tip. I originally ordered this and other parts to assist when I set up the replacement bumper I ordered. Unfortunately, I have had so much going on with other projects that I have not had time to put all of this together. I hope to do so someday soon. I was part of happy with the finished parts, but the delivery was sooner than expected so the parts look good too. Unfortunately, I don't know much to offer in the way of advice.

I was able to save the original which is a 50, since it easily separated and distorted when I used a large socket to install it. There were no faulty products in this package, just a bad idea from GM. A 50-50 proposition and a re-proposal.

Whenever I use aftermarket parts, I regret it. I can't trust the quality and fit of the parts. The part and the retaining ring that go with it are perfectly matched and installation is a snap. An aftermarket version of the part was dimensionally incorrect, so after an hour and a half I trashed it and bought a new one The GM parts have been ordered.
