A standard OEM seal is used. I felt it was a bit overpriced, but there had been a back order at my local dealer.
Part for 1. Original equipment manufacturer. The Miata 8.
It fits like a glove.
The genuine OEM product arrived exactly as described.
I found it to be very helpful!.
This means that the leaking "crank seal" on my Miata was not a serious problem. As a result, it was leaking from the dipstick hole of the oil pump. It is the same oil pump that is used on many cars, and it is the block that is the same I did not install the off plug in the oil pump I installed. I even sleeved the crank with no effect. The leak is right next to the crank snout, and I bought the bike when it was leaky. It wasn't until after I purchased the oil pump that I realized it came with an oil filter The dip stick on Mazda 323 went through the oil pump in the Miata. The crank pulley is the place to look if you have a slow oil leak in your miata.
