Despite its ability to remove the seal, the procedure failed. There were many of the blue aluminum seal presses that were out of round and did not fit properly on the steel plates or got stuck, requiring heavy force to remove them. Despite my best efforts to return these subcontractor-supplied items, the job I bought them for couldn't wait for me to do so Replacement is necessary if the product is not up to par. I had to sand the blue pieces to make it fit so I could attach it. My sincere thanks go out to the person who shipped me another seal puller and so I did not have to rely on the junk that came with As far as tools go, this is likely the worst that I have purchased.
Despite its limited number of seal driver rings, this set is certainly nice and does possess a number of seal driver rings for the installation of new seals. I don't have any complaints there, but that is a plus. In this case, the "hooks" on the seal extractor tool are in need of replacement. These hooks are very thin and do not appear to have been heat treated in any way. A front crank seal on an Isuzu 2 couldn't be removed with the extractor, so I tried it. The following are lines two through four An engine I am servicing has a four-cylinder configuration. In my case, I hooked the hooks into the seal "at 9 & 10" Then it was just a matter of typing in "3" and that was done. Then, I placed the extractor bar into place and turned the hand crank to pull out the seal. The hook end failed very quickly and the 90* ends bent almost straight and came right out of the seal with very little effort. In my case, I used a few sheetrock screws and a pair of vise-grip pliers to remove the seal. This is what most mechanics do. I give this kit one star for two reasons. First, the seal drivers will probably be used at some point, so there is some value in that. Another reason for using 1 star is that it is the lowest rating.
I thought it was decent for the price. The puller arm bent like everyone else said but I think I did put too much pressure on it to fast, so this is mostly my fault. All of the cups worked as expected. 3. 0 on the test. Those were enough pieces of the Tacoma car and the crank seals.
The seal installers mostly really benefit from this, as all the pieces seem It is possible to stack them on top of each other and interlock them. There are puller arms in the picture which seem cheap, but they can be changed out with bolts to become crank pulley pullers.
There was a problem with the product being used and incomplete. It appears I received an item that had been returned. It was useless without the missing components, so I had to return it.
The quality of the products is poor. After the seals were removed for the first time, the pins bent. The only use of this was to press in new seals. Recommend that you do not buy this product.
