Why does it say it won't fit my 1999 4runner when so many reviews claim it will work with 3rd gen 4runners with the v6?

IT IS COMPATIBLE WITH THE 5VZFE 24V 3. 4br>Amazon's fitment chart is full of errors, so if it says it doesn't fit, don't buy it. It's just another example of a fitment chart error on Amazon. Sellers of this item have no way of changing the chart.

What about the seal on the front? For all four, front and rear, Toyota only lists one part. ?

Half-aluminum cam seals are used in the front. Moons that have been silicone-sealed. Fipg is what Toyota uses, but I used permatex ultra black and they haven't leaked yet.

Is this part compatible with a Toyota Camry 2 model from 1997? A four-cylinder engine with a displacement of 2 liters (5 sfe)?

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. The TCS45978 does not appear to fit a 1997 Toyota Camry with a 2.0L engine according to Fel Pro. The engine is a 2L 5SFE.

Do I need to order two or is this a set of two for the left and right cylinder heads?

This is a set of two. When I replaced the valve cover gaskets, I only needed one.

They work great after I used a generous amount of Genuine Toyota FIPG around them and the half moon plugs.

4L 5VZ- Owners of FE vehicles with valve cover leaks should take a look at this! When replacing valve cover gaskets on Toyota 5VZ-based vehicles, these are a must-have. FE 3. Engines with a displacement of 4L The leakiest side of the car is usually the driver's. Keep in mind that replacing them with the vehicle's engine is extremely difficult. To press them back into place, I use a block of wood against the plug and a prybar between the wood and the firewall. The most difficult part is getting rid of the old ones. Good luck!.

These cam plugs were purchased for my three-cylinder vehicle. Tacoma with a 4 liter fuel tank. These, as well as my valve cover gaskets, were replaced. There should be no more leaks.
