I was very The kits have been installed and the system has been reassembled
3/5

My problem was that after I greased one side, the other side was blowing grease out of the side. 11/04/17 A month has passed and neither Amazon or the seller have gotten back to me. The seals are still not greased. You are sincerely appreciated, whether you have provided support or not. I have updated. We were still waiting on a reply by 4/6/2018, so we discarded them based upon the lack of response. That was a waste of time.

There is a bit of a loose fit on this item
4/5

Despite the fact that I received these within a very short time frame, I was very impressed with their build quality at the time. As well as being well thought out as far as design is concerned. Housings are made of aluminum that is rubberized, with an aluminum insert and rubber insert that is snap ringed into place. The insert is rubberized too, and I believe that it is aluminum as well. Test fitting the housing into the axle tube on my 1972 Jeep CJ5 made me realize how loose it was before I got started. There is not just a little to do, but a lot. These looked like they were made for Dana 30 axles, didn't they? What the heck is going on? As I said, I wanted to keep sand and debris from getting into my axle tubes, so I wrapped a round of 3M friction tape around it and installed it as tightly as I could. The one thing you must remember is that the axle is very close to the insert once it is installed, so make certain it is properly driven in before you thread in the axle and Your product is fantastic it keeps the cruddies at bay and my inner seals full of joy for a long time to come. Thanks a bunch!.

It seems to be working as it I read the other reviews pertaining to these products before I bought them because I have used similar versions in the past
5/5

As the price was simply too good to pass up, I bought it. They were installed just now since I had my front axle disassembled and the axle seals replaced. I have no problem with it. A great way to prevent grime, dirt, and road grime from getting down your axle tubes and damaging Having your inner axle seals replaced is the only way to prevent water, mud, etc. from entering your differential if you haven't replaced them previously, you would be surprised as to how much they are doing to keep everything outside. If you grease them regularly, they will keep everything out as long as you do not stop oiling them.

I put them on my 2007 JK front axles, and they are really nice
5/5

I put them on my 2007 JK front axles, and they are really nice. You can't use them if you have axle tubes in sleeves. Just a friendly reminder. Other than that, they are really easy to install. Before you can attach your new axles, you will need to remove the plastic guard from your existing axles In order to reinstall the axles, you need first to remove the axle guides and then the joints. Ensure that the axles are back in place before you grease them. Mine was a little tricky, because the grease fittings were positioned too close to the C's on the rear, so I pulled out the zerks and rubbed the grease gun with a rubber tip instead. You need to poke grease into the zerks until it starts to come out, then put the zerks back on. Nothing to worry about. *Edit
I've been doing these since quite some time and they're very effective There is still a lot of energy in them. It's one of the reasons why I have a question about the zerk fittings on my drivers side. My drivers side spins a bit, so you never know which one goes where. I don't think that's a huge deal, if you need to grease it, you can return it to where it needs to be to put the grease gun on it with no problem. In order to fix this issue, I recommend you spray a little bit of RTV sealant on the inside of the axle tube when you install it. The spin would be kept from spinning if this were done.

Read this if you are an YJ or XJ owner
4/5

There is no fitting for passenger side seals on XJ and YJ vehicles with two piece axle shafts on the passenger side. It will require you to convert these to a one-piece axle shaft if you plan to use these.

Installation is simple and it keeps everything separate from the The axles were installed in my dana 30 axles for my '04 LJ
5/5

My stock covers were worn out after 225000 miles, so I had all the work done to replace them after I changed my hubs and removed the axle shafts to check and replace my ujoints. After I cleaned my tubes inside and out and installed my outer seals (just pushed them into the tubes), I cleaned off as much dirt and rust as I could. During the repair process, I went back to the original position, and I filled the shafts with grease after they were reinstalled (less chance of tearing the inner seals) and then I completed the rest of the work on the I would advise you to buy a pair of rubber covers for the zerk fittings as for some reason companies never send them when selling stuff with zerk fittings.

The hardest part of installation was waiting two days for amazon to deliver them.

Sealing the outer axle of the front axle
5/5

Water, dirt, mud and sand can no longer get into the axles because these seals prevent that.
They are affordable and they do a good job, so I like them.

As long as it is put together correctly, it works
3/5

As soon as they arrived, I installed them. The water and oil began flowing out of the driver's side of my YJ a year later. As a result of service on the front differential, my mechanic found that the seal insert for the 1 splines was 180 deg. out, so the grease did not travel to It's possible that the factory made the seal incorrectly, so it wore the other axle shaft so badly that it would not function with a new seal. A new set of seals was needed, as well as another replacement of the long shaft. Rather than having the factory assemble them incorrectly, we had them assemble them correctly.
