Yes, this will fit a 2006 Jeep TJ Rubicon, my friend. Thank you for taking the time to contact us. Wishing you a pleasant day! 😊

Will these work on a 99 Jeep Wrangler?

It will fit any dana 30 or 44 front axle, so yes, you should have a 30.

If using TJ shafts, will this work with a yj vacuum disco axle?

With c. They will work with TJ axle shafts in a c (central axle disconnect), but it is unclear whether they will work with TJ axle shafts in a c. I have no idea, but I have a feeling they will.

Is this going to fit a CJ5 Dana30 with a narrow track?

They are not compatible with a core 44 G2 front differential!

Seals for axle tubes of excellent quality
5/5

The OEM Dana 30 front axle tube seals were replaced with these. I reasoned that since I was replacing the u-bracket, I should replace the u-bracket as well I'm going to toss in some joints and wheel hubs as a precaution. My axle didn't have tube seals, as I discovered! These were easy to install and sealed perfectly. These fit like a glove and stay put after cleaning them out with a wire wheel and applying grease. Nothing gets in or out of them, and lubricating them is a pain. If the zerk fittings are facing forward, it's free.

It's not going to be easy to set up
4/5

If you want to do it right, you'll need to remove the wheels, brakes, rotors, wheel hub, and axlebr>You could then install them, but your tubes are still filthybr>So you'll also need to remove the diff cover, carrier with gears, and, if you've gotten this far, the seals. br>NOW hose out those tubes with brake cleaner and get an old shirt or shop towels and a wood dowelbr>Swab those tubes like a cannon barrelbr>Put in new inner seals, put your diff back together, NOW you can add a coat of RTV to these and seal the outer side of your tubes br>REMEMBER, grease is your friendbr>grease the axle, grease the seals, NEVER push an axle through drybr>once together, go for a spin, then come back and hit those grease fittings AGAINbr>if there is a wall of grease and rubber seal less chance of dirt and water getting into your tubesbr>for me a "youtube mechanic" that is i learned by watching youtubebr>it was an 8 hr job.

For a 2009 Jeep Wrangler, I purchased these. They were packaged in a small cardboard box when they arrived. The axle seals arrived in good shape and appear to be in perfect working order. br>br>Because I was installing them as part of a ball joint replacement, the installation was quick for me. If you've just purchased these, I wouldn't recommend dismantling the front end. br>br>The seals are fine; they're made of aluminum that has been machined. The zerk fittings aren't particularly impressive, but they'll get the job done; I coated them in RTV before installing them to keep them from spinning. They fit snugly around the axle shafts, and I believe they will spin in the axle tubes. When reinstalling your axle shafts, pay special attention to the area where the axle shaft becomes a little larger. To get the axle shafts in, I used a little lube and pushed them in a little. Before I could reinstall my axle shafts, I needed to remove the factory-installed plastic axle tube protectors. br>br>The zerk fitting is far enough away from the axle tube for me to use a grease gun on it, but I had to install them with the zerk facing the back of the vehicle. A grease gun would not fit in front of the camera. We'll see how they perform. br>br> I frequently take my jeep off-road and frequently get stuck in mud. If something goes wrong, I'll make a change. Would I buy these again? br>br> No, I doubt it. They were a pain to work with, and I'm not sure they'll live up to their billing. I wouldn't get them unless I needed the axle shafts removed for another reason.

It's low-cost and appears to be effective
5/5

To be clear, I'm not a serious mud crawler, so this review may not accurately portray your experience. This outer axle seal was purchased to keep salt and grime out of my axle shafts while I was rebuilding my front axle. My XJ is rarely, if ever, exposed to mud, but it is a daily driver that has logged thousands of miles on the road. For the past 5000 miles and counting, these outer axle seals have kept my axle shafts dry as a bone.

When it comes to installing on a JK, there are a few things you should keep in mind
4/5

When installing on a 2007 JK, because the shafts have a straight flat cut on the spline end of the shaft, it's best to remove the seal and start the seal over the spline, then replace the snap ring. I ripped my seal and contacted the seller to see if I could get another. I watched a YouTube video on how to install it, which was my mistake.

92 Cherokee (regular Dana 30) DOES NOT FIT
3/5

DOES NOT FIT 92 Cherokee (regular Dana 30) I took everything apart, installed these, and everything looked great until the Axles started turning. After the Hub is bolted back in, the axle is pushed into the seal housing. This causes the axle to bind on the seal housing (or rotate the entire seal housing). I'm unable to return them because they were damaged during testing. If the company sends me something that fits, I'll change my rating. I'm hoping that the information is updated. Also, this appears to be compatible with a 1990 Cherokee with different axles.

If you use RTV to adhere them, they'll look fantastic
4/5

Worked great, but I had to reinstall the axles and use RTV to keep the tube seals from spinning in the Dana 44 tubes.

Nice!
5/5

It worked perfectly! While I had everything apart to replace the inner axle seals on a D30, I installed these. br>On the O-, I used RTV. A wooden dowel was used to whack them into the axle tubes, and rings were used to kind of glue them in place. They have not yet moved. br>Make sure the axle where the seal will be installed is clean!.
