My 2000 Ford excursion v10 4x4 comes with four-wheel drive. Does this tool work with it?

Because the F350 and Excursion are built on the same frame, we can expect this to occur. The rear wheel on this model is the same as the rear wheel on a Ford F350. I had no issues installing the F350 DSRW on my 1999 F350

These are THE must-have parts for FORD front hubs

The price is $100 off the competition, but the quality is the same. The depth of the seals can be perfectly set without damage. A warning it appears to be quite lightweight from the first glance. It is made of a solid piece of metal (not aluminum), so it is not lightweight. As long as it's set inside the hub, it will stay in place so you can bang it around a bit. My setting tool of choice was a heavy rubber mallet. I haven't had a problem with it.

The shafts on my rig are 35 spline, so it won't fit because I didn't think about it until I tried to use it

My own fault. I had a machinist at work bore the ID of a 35-spline shaft to fit over the ID of the product. Once that was done, everything worked like a charm. It only takes a minute to open the seal driver part itself since the handle is hollow and big enough for 35 splines.

Has the effect it is intended to have

Does the job for what it's designed to do. It got messed up on the first seal. If I had used it the first time, I would have paid for half of it. Do it and you will no longer have to deal with aggravation of having to wait for it to arrive.

If you are using a small hammer, then the tool will bounce off the table. I recommend a sledge of at least three to four pounds. This is a great fit for the 2004 F350 dually.

There was a slight problem with fitting. Although the diameter of the wheel was a bit too large, I managed to grind it down a bit in order to make it.

A good value for money

My purpose for buying this tool was to set the front axel seal for my Ford F-150 My experience with it was pretty simple and the price was very reasonable. In the end, it took me about 20 minutes per seal to complete the task, which was quicker and cheaper than going to the auto shop.
