This is a slightly different part in appearance from the original GM part that was also branded National. The song was perfect for this situation. My only con with this seal as opposed to the AC delco ones is that the AC delco ones have the inner lip of the seal already pre-assembled Various types of grease are used to lubricate it. I couldn't find any information as to whether lubricating the seal with grease will shorten its life. This national one had no grease and I couldn't find any instructions about whether grease or ATFT will do so. The following are some tips Put the seal in with a 2x4 and a hole saw just big enough to fit the diameter of the seal. Ensure that 2x4s are free of dust or debris.
