Brake fluid isn't resistant to the rubber. Earls crush washers are my recommendation for a brake system. They come in two different metals: aluminum and copper. 177101ERL is one of the part numbers. On brake calipers, 177102ERL is commonly used.
Mine will be used to secure the engine overhead cam covers under acorn nuts. Washers made of copper were used in the beginning. As long as they aren't torn or smashed, these could be reused, in my opinion. However, I would always use new if it was for internal use or to seal something with oil pressure.
Only one is required beneath the bolt head.

I don't usually write product reviews, but these seals were able to stop the leak where normal copper crush washers were unable to. I'm glad I found them because I didn't have any other choices.
I couldn't get a leaking brake to stop leaking, so this was an excellent product. This product was the first to stop the leak after trying several other options.
Great product! I had a brake fluid leak at a caliper's banjo fitting and tried three sets of crush rings with no luck - After that, I came across this product on the internet and decided to purchase it. IT HAD BEEN SUCCESS!.
I could never find the right parts.
All disc brake jobs from now on will include this.
