7/8-inch threads are "SUPPOSED" to be 7/8-inch threads

Despite the fact that they appear to be 16, they are in fact. 7/8-inch threads are "SUPPOSED" to be 7/8-inch threads. Although they appear to be 16, they are actually 22mm X 1. The overdrive assembly cannot be installed because of the 5 pitch.
