I fitted this perfectly on the 2000 Tundra SR5 4X4 I have. The drive shaft is 2X2 and two piece. Although the part was packaged in a Dana Spicer box, it stated that it was made in Japan There is no way to recognize a Toyota part number that is etched onto the actual carrier bearing as a valid OEM Toyota part and no one seems to know how to do anything about it. A few years ago, I needed to replace my entire drive shaft with an aftermarket company called The Drive Shaft Store. AKA carrier bearing, I called them to inquire about the center support bearing that failed after less than 10K miles and was informed that it would not be covered by the warranty. It has Dana Spicer stamped part numbers on drive shafts, yokes, and U joints so the drive shafts, yokes, and U joints are OEM Quality, but the carrier bearings are low quality imports made in Taiwan As a result of speaking with technical support, they informed me that both OEM and aftermarket bearings are the same for this system, which included their It looks and feels like the Dana Carrier bearing was good quality, which eliminated the hole shot vibration, under load vibration, and horrible bearing noise. Now there is no vibration under any load or speed. Plus, there is no bearing noise at all (YIPPEE! ). There are several things to be aware of for those who have the skill set to do these repairs If you let the shaft hang too much in the transmission at an angle when removing, the seal will leak when it is reinstalled. So, #1, use a jack stand to support the shaft while removing. As part of # 2 make sure you clearly mark the shafts, u joints and yokes on the sleeve so that they can be seated and installed correctly In my example, I marked two different parts of the shaft using a silver Sharpie, since if you don't, you'll end up needing to buy another shaft due to excessive vibration.

Suitable for four-wheel drive vehicles

The Toyota Tundra 4x4 SR5 is a 2003 model. These work perfectly on the 4x4 and cost about the same as the cheap Chinese replacement parts from the auto parts.

It is a great purchase! I am very happy with it. OEM Toyota prices at any online Toyota retailer are less than half of the OEM Toyota prices. This is a great idea, what's not to like. has even been molded into the rubber mounting with Toyota's logo on it! Forpointing me to this bargain piece, the Tacoma World forum is to be thanked!.

My 2004 4-wheel drive is equipped with a new center bearing that is an exact replacement. The Prerunner is a 4-cylinder Toyota. It made a large impact on the slop in the driveline and reduced vibrations. Good price and fast shipping.

I have been using it in my 2003 Tacoma double cab. It has managed to put on 10k miles so far and is in great condition. This item is marked OEM. The best alternative to OE parts sold by the original manufacturer.

A much better price for a factory part

Toyota charges 240 dollars more for the same OEM part. There is even a Toyota part number on the back of the part. My 06 Tundra was able to use them just fine. I also recommend their U-bolts Become a joint.
