The unit went out a year ago and had to be replaced. While the fit and durability of the part were good, I was disappointed by the longevity of the part. Could have lasted a bit.
Despite its great design, it only lasted 5 months on my truck before the rubber disintegrated and the bearing slipped out. In total, less than 4,000 miles were driven on highways. As for the driveline, it was installed properly, and it has been It turned out to be a fruitless investment.
I would not recommend this product. As for the product itself, it seems to fit both my knees well but it is really bad made, it is made of very thin metal, it has soft rubber on the support, and to top it all off, mine had seized bearings. In addition, the Customer service of this seller did not meet my expectations. use Anchor parts again and will not conduct business with John Tillery again because of the message he sent suggesting I was incompetent even though I have done several hundred of these styles of carrier bearings in my career as a mechanic.
I have a truck that has a little over 530,000 miles on it and I find that The driveshaft u joints and carrier bearing support on the rear driveshaft were also replaced. I really like this fit, and the price is great.
This bearing arrived damaged, but it appears to be a good bearing despite the rubber boot being torn.
It was difficult to get the right one because there were three different models! Customer service helped!.
Finished to factory specs and installed by factory personnel.
This is perfect.
