Selected User Reviews For TIMKEN SET5 Bearing Set
My favorite Timken bearing is the real deal. The standard for quality in the industry is this brand, so I see no reason for anyone else to wear anything else. 214K miles went by since my last set of Bushings from Timken, but the truck was taken out of service for other problems, so I had to replace them. The bearings in my race car went in when I tow the van with it Having problems on a long drive is not what I want on a long drive, so sure, I won't bother- I spent around five dollars more on Timken than on some questionable model. Is it even worth it to sacrifice quality for low prices on something so important? In the past, I have run two dealership service departments as well as a custom performance shop. The difference between a good bearing and a bad bearing is obvious to me. There is no way you will be disappointed with them.
The quality of "Timken" you are buying is not in doubt. Considering the size of the difference in price between this bearing and some no name bearings, I am not sure why Timken does not own the market exclusively. A 2001 Ford Ranger 2WD is equipped with this unit. You can check Timken's stock# against the equivalent for your brand of vehicle on their website to ensure that you order the correct bearing and race for your vehicle. Bearings in the catalog and their stock# can be found like the Manhattan phone book, but you can navigate through it easily.
Since Timken bearings are used, they are of course Make sure they're properly greased, keep dirt off of them at installation time, and adjust them with a fine touch, and you'll never have to look at Buying the best may cost a little more, but it is worth the price! Please note This is a disclaimer. Although I do not work for Timken, I have been using their bearings for decades and have never seen one fail (unless it was running out of lubricant,.
In my cars, I will not use Chinese bearings and these USA made bearings are made by the best bearing house in the country. The bearings never have any issues, and they're no more expensive than Spend a little less and gain more experience by changing bearings, or spend a little bit more and buy the best.
The 2000 Chevy Express 1500 conversion van was mounted on it. Exactly what I wanted. In addition to replacing outer and inner seals, I also replaced bearings and bearing housings. Here is the Amazon link for all parts. Please purchase grease for your bearings.
I have a 2000 Ford Ranger 3 and this is the right fit for me. A total of 0 automatic two-wheel drives. O'Reilly is on the left and Timken is on the right. There appears to be a greater size difference in the Timken rollers.
Although the product is worth the price and of high quality, why can't I buy an expensive smart phone and not have to sign for the delivery while I have to sign for this wheel bearing? There are things that I have no idea what they are.
Do not accept China as an option- Some of them made other brands (National, etc. ) that you can find in your local auto parts store. Invest in the best. Get.
