Questions & Answers

What's set 10?

M802048 is not part of a set 10 as I don't show it. Is that what you wanted to know?

The eaton tru trac differential for GM 8 is compatible with this product. Are there 5 rings on the gearbox?

Those bearings are inner pinion bearings, not outer pinion bearings.

What does it mean when it says the origin is from China? Can you tell me where Timken bearings are made?

The entire line of timken bearings is not made in the United States. In general, I try to avoid bearings made by Chinese companies, since they tend to use substandard metals. However, it is not always possible to avoid them. It looks like they're made in Illinois, so you might try SKF bearings. It is possible that some of their bearings may be imported too.

This appears to be compatible with the GML What do you mean by six?

There is no need for that

The bearing performed well during the test
5/5

This bearing was purchased to be used as a test bearing on a Ford 8 car. It has a rear axle of 8 wheels. Despite the unusual taper of my Koyo race, the shoe fitted perfectly. In spite of the fact that Timken and Koyo are the same company and both bearings were made in the USA, the Koyo bearing has a sexier look and feels better. However, there is nothing wrong with the Timken.

The pinion bearing that I use in my 2001 Ford Mustang GT is of high quality
5/5

A conclusion has been reached. The pinion bearing that I use in my 2001 Ford Mustang GT is of high quality. In the end, I decided to use Timken bearings instead of Koyo. The Timken bearings that you need are easier to locate. In my attempt to buy a second Koyo pinion bearing (for setting the pinion depth), I could not find any sources for When comparing side by side quality, Timken comes out on top. As for the bearing's origin, it was made in the United States. The bearing race isn't included, so be sure to bring it along.

It seems to work fine
5/5

A pinion bearing is what it is. In any case, if you are in there replacing it, you probably know what you are We (hopefully). My Ford 8 was used when I worked there. Two of them should be purchased and one should be grinded until it is a slip fit and then used as a set up bearing for determining the.

This candidate meets all the test fit requirements
5/5

A perfect bearing for me to take apart and use as a test fit bearing for my JK front and rear pinion. As opposed to pressing on and off several times, this one will serve as a test fit model to determine my depth and then press on the matching Timken bearing that came with my master installation.

The world is great, but the race is not
5/5

It was the same bearing as mine that I needed to set up the rear end pinion. An accompanying race does not come with this bearing.
