Thanks Brian, I measured my battery roughly using a cheap tape, but below is what I found. In my measurements, I found the plastic casing to be approximately 22 cm high. It's approx. 7 1/4 inches long by 10 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches wide, but from the bottom of the case to the top of the post it's about 7.5 inches. There are 8 1/8 inches in this measure. It is odd that this battery lies flat on its side in a battery tray with the posts pointing toward the engine in my 40 Ford. I could stack two batteries on their side of the tray if I had the right cables. I like this battery. It's a little small for a standard tray, but has a decent amount of power and holds its charge very well when, just sitting in the garage for I hope this was helpful in some way. I am Wayne
In theory, a 12 volt optima battery should be the same as 2 6 volt batteries connected Within the case of a 12V battery, there are six cells connected in series.

An angle will be needed for the battery to fit into the battery box. Due to its length and narrowness, it can be angled in the box and positioned with ease, so you have better support for the hold-up. Located at the opposite corners and you will be ok. I had my Optima in my Chevy for 6 years.

I rated it one star since I couldn't give it a 0 It is rated as five stars. My rating of this battery would likely have been a 5-star if I had given one shortly after purchase It is rated as five stars. When it was hooked up to my Farmall H, I could start and run it like a beast, and I had every intention of buying an Optima battery for every 6V tractor in my collection. In the fifth week During the 6 months I spent trying to charge it, I could not get it to hold a charge and shortly thereafter, I could not charge it. After a couple of calls to Optima customer support, I learned of their daisy-chaining trick My first attempt at bringing it up to life was using a 6V battery chain. After this failed, I got through to a person on my third call and I was told to get a print-out of the fuses out of an auto parts store. In spite of verifying the battery had failed, they were not able to issue the tickets because the voltage of the battery was too low for their machine to allow the test. Considering I had to pay almost twice as much for the battery, and it came with a three year warranty, I thought it was a superior product, but in reality it wasn't as long lasting as generic batteries, and the hassle to get a replacement wasn't I feel that this is probably one of my least satisfied purchases. Then and now.

It can no longer be charged every other day anymore because my 6v one I bought just three years ago has reached the end of its useful life. I've been putting it on the charger every other month or so, and *On the professionally rebuilt generator this car has just 2600 miles on it and it draws 7+ volts thanks to the NOS regulator. A couple hours after it has been sitting, the battery can only generate 5 volts or so. If it sits overnight, even less voltage is generated. These are not providing me with any better life than the old ones- School batteries that have gotten wet. It's a great idea that this is a rechargeable battery It is good to have power come The battery has a leak In contrast, the battery has a very narrow form factor (1/2 of a normal one, width - 2" WISE) is awkward to install and makes it a challenge The engineering is laziness at its finest. It's not uncommon for people to double-up Adding them up together is like a parallel processing, so you have an expensive battery but a stronger one, but the longevity problem is still there.

A few investigations and calls to Optima revealed that the battery we received from Amazon was a remanufactured one. On the battery was a date code dating back to 2003! Amazon confirms that Optima remanufactured models have been sold, but they don't disclose this so we can't tell you how many were sold. The warranty will not be provided by Optima. It's a loss for us.

The 2 batteries I bought from this seller were both faulty, the first one did not work, and the second one only lasted a week in my 2008 VW EOS. This was a really bad experience and a huge waste of money for me.

This product was bought to replace the batteries in a 2008 VW Eos. Volkswagen wanted 550 for a set of yellow top batteries, but after a lot of research, I found out the yellow top batteries often fail due to the extra plates they add inside the The blue ones went in just as easily as the yellow ones came out, and I have not had any problems This replacement was very easy to find and for the price is not to A must-have for any home or office.

You must have an installed electrical system that is up to OEM or better specifications for this battery to work. Regardless of the type of 6 volt automotive electrical system you choose, it's critical to use the right gauge wiring (gauge 00 shielded welding cable is a good replacement if OEM style battery cables are not available). A simple push of the starter button starts the 2 tons Cadillac 331 in no time at all. An empty plastic battery case for Group 2 battery fits nicely around this battery Optima Oomph provides an in-app experience that is similar to stock in my application. The battery on your Optima should be kept on a float charger in between uses for enhanced longevity. We haven't heard any complaints.

I've owned the car for over 30 years and my first Optimas purchased from an Optima dealer in Santa Monica lasted quite a while. When I was testing my batteries, they provided excellent support as well as a loaner battery. The Optimas I purchased from Amazon have been around since In the past two months, two of my batteries have failed. Now I I was unable to receive service support, and the batteries lasted only about two years with my diligent efforts to maintain them. There was a review on Amazon that stated that you could buy remanufactured batteries from Amazon. I don't know if this is correct, but the Amazon Optimas I own have an incredibly short life span. I will buy my next Optima at a retailer where I am assured of service after purchase and a.
