The recessed design of the Pilida billet battery tray is compatible with the specific Optima Battery that you purchased the tray for.

Red top: 34, 34/78 (DOES NOT FIT 34R), Yellow top: D34, D34/78 (DOES NOT FIT D75 GROUP SIZE 75), Blue top: 34M, D34M (DOES NOT FIT D75 GROUP SIZE 75).

The battery relocation kit is constructed of billet aluminum for maximum performance. More resistant to corrosion, less prone to rusting, and has a higher anti-corrosion rating.

The outside dimensions of the billet battery tray are 11 inches wide by 11 inches long. 2“ x 7. 9”. 1 battery tray, 2 hold down tabs, 4x10mm bolts, 6x8mm bolts, 4 bolt washers, and 6 nuts are included in the Battery Mount Kit as shown in the pictures.

Is this compatible with the SC34U battery model?

Yes, it will work with Optima batteries from model 34. It clamps the battery in place at the base, and it worked great for me.

Is it possible to attach this to the metal tray without any additional hardware? Should I lay down rubber isolaters, and if so, what should I put down?

Yes, you can attach this to a metal floor board or pan directly. There's no need to isolate yourself.

Is there any movement of the battery when it is mounted?

In my Dune Buggie, I installed a battery. It hasn't moved in any way.

Is this going to work with a yellow D35 top?

It will not work with the D35 battery because the base is different from the D34/78 and other models. I purchased one that is in excellent condition!

There are no battery hold down bars or rods, so the battery top is unobstructed. br>br>I'd give it a five out of five. If all of the fasteners were stainless steel, it would receive a five-star rating. All of them are made of carbon steel that is measured in millimeters. For an additional $16, I used all stainless steel to match the tray's appearance. br>br>My installation was a little more difficult than usual because I had to attach a base piece of white PVC trim board to the existing "tool tray" (using rivets) before I could proceed. Install the 6 screws through the trap into tee-nuts I installed in the tray), then mount the aluminum tray to that base piece using the 6 screws through the trap into tee-nuts I installed in the tray. On the underside of the base piece, there are nuts.
