The perfect fit for the battery terminal on the 2013 Ford F150
5/5

When I went to the Ford dealer for routine maintenance, they took a long time, then brought me my truck and said, "We had something to show you. " As I had the battery cover removed, they were able to uncover blue corrosive goo on the positive post (which appeared slimy, likely full of acid, etc), so I had them brush it off so I could see what was underneath these layers. In response to my question, he told me it would cost $395 to replace the connector. As far as I know, you meant Does 95 count? In the original $395, he repeats what he said. My reaction is to laugh, telling him it is not going to happen. After that, I asked him how much it costs to install this particular item, and he said 600 dollars. Therefore, you're spending a little over $1K for an eroding battery terminal that happens to attach to downlines (where none of them are The product is not purchased instead a new battery (I bought one from Costco for $99), some battery prep spray to prevent corrosion and some felt pads to place under the terminal posts and then some shrink wrap tubing to wrap the terminal posts. For everything else, there was a cost of 46 plus $99 for the total expense. Due to the fact that I have no cable crimper/remover, the old part had to come off using an old dremel tool, which I then used to core out the center of the crimp, which then allowed me to remove the cable almost perfectly. Afterwards, I used the verb To make sure the crimp would hold on the cable, the pliers were used to crush it onto it, and in three directions. My last step was to wrap the package in So I guess I did it right, because my friends couldn't believe it wasn't that way from the factory. Now that I've had it for four months, I can confidently state that the Positive Battery Terminal Clamp w/Nuts is a solid product. Also, don't go The old ones will probably work, but they will likely be old, gunked up, and have microscopic erosion already taking place. Choose this one with nuts rather than going with the slightly cheaper one without nuts. Once all the pieces have been installed, spray the antibacterial solution on There are different types of corrosion sprays. It is hoped that this was helpful.

Shapes are formed by using an Allen wrench with a vise grip of 8mm
5/5

As I twisted the flange, I was unable to figure out how to bend it. There is no need to change the U-shaped flange with a large Allen wrench. Simply bend the flange at a slow pace with the vise grips to form an octagon. I got a good grade on this using a Coating on both the top and bottom of the clamp was done with Permatex 22058 Dielectric Tune-Up To prevent future "green crusty's" on surfaces, you must clean up grease. The part I used has saved me over two hours of work. The bills amount to six! Thank you, I really appreciate it This tube might help you find the solution to the $268 "Battery cable" issue.

It's Fixed! The Expedition Fix for 2017
5/5

During the inspection, I found that my positive battery cable in my 2017 Ford Expedition Platinum was completely damaged. There were so many instances that the female connector around the terminal was eaten. It cost me $980 for the labor and assembly for the cable assembly at the Ford dealer. It was the only option available after speaking to my service technician and the Ford parts manager. The part I need can be purchased It has been purchased and installed. Several tools were required to complete the process, which took about 30 minutes. I had no trouble connecting the wires to the part (hot). The only challenge was crimping the wires to the parts. Parts have wings that can be folded to form crimps. This is a wonderful piece of software. All in all, I was able to fix my issue for less than This is incredible!.

I replaced my corroded terminal with this simple step-by-step guide - 2013 Ford F-250 There is only one difference between this part and the factory positive terminal the nut to tighten on the lead lug is a bit larger than the factory one
5/5

The crimped down battery cable that points down to the engine also caused me problems. I had to remove the battery before I could remove the two nuts on the positive terminal so that the wires could be removed from the positive terminal. There was also mention that some people used a dremel tool to remove the crimped fitting. While I didn't have a paintbrush, I had my Dewalt angle grinder fitted with one Three minutes was all it took for sanding wheel to do the trick. One of the crimps and some of the second side were ground away, and the fitting came off easily. In order to rephrase In order to press down the new fitting, I used channel lock pliers on both sides. Then, I took a 5/16 inch bolt and placed it on the seam of both wings and used vise grips to smash the bolt firmly into place Both wings were crimped down perfectly by the device. The electrical connections were taped over, and everything was bolted back up after a few A total of 30 minutes were spent on the work. Anti-war sentiment is strong The terminal is sprayed with corrosion There was a lot of corrosion on the original. It's still likely I will need to replace the battery, but at least this connection will not.

This is a good product
5/5

In order to tow my 2018 Ford Explorer, I needed this part as part of a Frankenstein's monster creation The wheelchair is able to go down four wheels. A remote battery disconnect kit that I bought came with the positive cable crimped to the terminal and when I tried to remove it, I found that it was broken. The cable and terminal were bolted to the output of the solenoid after I removed them from the cable. Having still needed a terminal for the positive at the battery, I decided to cut away the top crimp side and the attachment stud. Where I cut sections off of the terminal, I used cold galvanization to try to protect the copper exposed there. A good job had been done in every aspect of the terminal's construction With a copper base that is plated in tin or zinc to prevent.

The perfect fit for your 2014 Ford F-150 The FX4 version of the game has not been released yet
5/5

The purchase of this part was made for the 2014 Ford F-150 It is only necessary to make a positive connection, and Ford sells wire harnesses and cables that are expensive. I heard about this from other Ford Forum users and YouTube users. Item fits perfectly, is durable and well made, and is clamped firmly, yet all connections are snug. It is definitely something I will get again if it is It only needed to be replaced on the positive terminal due to a corrosive battery installed at the same time. I had doubts that this part would fit the F150, but it did, even though it wasn't marketed that way.

Easy to do
5/5

After corrosion enlarged the holes, this item was required to be replaced in order for the Ford F150 to start sometimes. It was easy to install and it worked. It's too bad Ford's battery clamp is so goofy! Compared to the old cars, the Fords corrode in five years whereas the new cars are better suited for 20 or 30.
