Although it is not a direct replacement for my 2013 Nissan Altima, it still does the job. I have no complaints since it fits perfectly. I was in a lot of pain during my replacement. On top of the bolt, there was severe corrosion. It actually took me a day to grind the old one away. After that, I installed the new one and cleaned everything up.
This is an easy to install product. This dealer wanted to charge an arm and a leg for it. This will set your mind at ease if you need a terminal connector (I'm not 100% certain, but the dealer was insistent on it). The current terminal connector that has too much crud on it can be cleaned off by soaking a bit of soda (I used Dr. Pepper as I had it available) over it, and the crud will be cleaned off. You will then be able to see its condition. Please make sure you rinse with plenty of water to ensure that it doesn't eat rubber or paint, and be sure to avoid getting any on your skin or My experience with several different vehicles has shown that it does not pose any problems.
Shame on the dealership for not noticing corrosion or correcting it until it had gotten to be a problem The wife goes to the dealer to change the oil in her car. When she receives the quote from the dealer to replace the terminal, she asks if she can do it instead of him In my car and the cars of the kids, most of the maintenance is done by me. Yeah, no problem. I love it. It's perfect. The corrosion was prevented by replacing both the terminals and putting dielectric grease on the connector. Guess I will also have to change the oil! I love it!.
of the way the car is built, you have been having to visit the dealership for years. This piece arrived quickly and was installed instantly. I will definitely order it from Amazon if I need it again in the future. My 2012 Maxima was just perfect after tightening all the connections, and it started right up. This has been running successfully for 90 days and no issues have been encountered.
As far as we know it is the original Nissan part and it fits 2005 - 2007 Nissans. All Nissan Frontiers and newer models are likely to be 2020 model year cars. Only one small difference could be seen, which was the tightening of It's not a big deal that this nut is 13mm in size as opposed to 12mm. The last two junkyards near me wanted $25 for a used part! Glad I found it here for $10. I was planning on picking it up from a junkyard near me, but they both wanted $25!.
It is a good deal and is a good deal. There is a good chance that your nissan/infinity has one of these, and you'll find out (or be aware) that they are not meant to last forever due to the thin metal incorporated into the design. Regardless of the brand (and even if they are OEM), they eventually bend and twist. Make yourself a favor and keep a spare battery in your vehicle in case of emergencies. If you don't want to be left stranded, you better prepare in advance (ask me how I know this).
Installing this was a breeze once the old one was off.
I have cleaned the terminal bolt a couple times, but by the time I needed a new battery, I had forgotten how to do it. My finger was too long and I had to clip After replacing the bolt, I decided to order this as a spare, just in case it happens What's on the battery is an exact duplicate of what came with it. I have not installed it, but it is just an "insurance policy" in case I need it in the future. It can sometimes be hard to locate these items when you are in a jam and need one right away.
