It is easy to find cheap Sorry to hear that
3/5

All components mounted smoothly and I was able to connect them to the battery easily. After switching it off again, I turned it back on. My friend and I went outside the following day to see my handy work, and I switched it on afterwards. There were a few movements in one direction, but it remained seized. My surprise came when the handle snapped off when I tried turning it off again. It was then that I realized how thin the shaft of the handle The best part is that it is The quality of the product is poor. A different, more heavy-duty switch will now have to be ordered. The whole thing is making me miserable.

The switch is great The 3/8" Lug battery cable is what you need
5/5

Isolator switches like these are highly useful. Their sturdy construction and easy mounting make them ideal for outdoor use. The cables of 3/8" lugs must be used. 5/16" will not go on the terminals because I purchased it. This product was not mounted with the included A stainless steel #10 screw was used for a 1 1/2 inch hole. The screws are mounted to the plastic side of the battery well in my Suntracker Fishn' Barge DLX 24'. With the help of the plastic cover, connected them to the Blue Sea 4 terminal marine bus block. In addition, I used one as an isolator for my 24V Trolling Motor batteries.

This review is based on the Cllena Battery Disconnect Switch for Marine
5/5

During the construction of my solar power system for my shed, I needed this kind of high-current switch so that the battery power connected to my inverter could be turned off. Other solar power experts seem to be using this switch as well, as I've seen videos on YouTube. There are heavy duty bolts for attaching the power cables to this disconnect switch, so it appears to be well built and sturdy. Whether the switch is installed in a domestic or commercial environment, the buyer has the ability to remove the side panels for easy access and access the bottom panel A safety precaution, the switch must be pushed in before being turned on so that power doesn't get disconnected by accident. As well as mounting hardware, it comes with. To prevent an over current meltdown of marine batteries and cabling in the event a short circuit occurs, this switch should be connected to these batteries and marine batteries. Our home has an evaluation question that goes like this In your place, do you think you would take the same decision again knowing what you know now? If I were choosing a switch to isolate my inverter from my solar power system, yes, I would choose the one I have now. I recommend it.

A LIGHT duty, a Tiny & an The rating
3/5

It is falsely represented in terms of amperage and duty level. These are designed for use with mowers and other tools of a light duty. A part number of 300A is listed on the back of the packaging. Take a look at the A brief note on the If I use standards such as UL or NEC or ABYC for 12v 100 amps, I can barely fulfill the requirements. For 12v 300A at 10ft, a 1/O AWG cable is required, which has an 8 AWG data wire. This is the standard cross-sectional size of 25mm A measurement of the diameter of the section. Please enter the following postcode ( larger than the stud itself)
3 AWG has a diameter of 6mm (the stud size) and can carry It's pretty nice to have a switch so small. It feels solid and would be great for a mower or small DC power supply.

This is a great switch
5/5

It is well built and very functional. The price is reasonable and the quality is excellent. This unit is especially useful since I was able to completely enclose it so it was protected from the weather. The switch came with two holes drilled through one side plate that I used to run the wires. Once the holes where the wires entered are sealed with silicon, the wires can no longer enter. This switch is definitely one I would recommend.

It seems to be working fine
3/5

I am satisfied with the switch's performance overall. The cable is attached to the battery case on the trailer so that I do not need to connect and disconnect the battery every time I go camping. The items could be improved in a couple of areas. There is a problem with the bolts / posts that hold the wires in place on the switch. In order to make it fit, I had to widen (drill out) the interior of the battery cable end connected to the switch. Two, the four bolts that were sent with the switch were too long to connect it to the battery case. The only device I could use is a mini The extra length can be cut off with a hacksaw. If they weren't padded with something, or cut off like I did, it would have left the possibility that the battery inside the case could have been punctured while the trailer was moving. I would have given the switch five stars if those two items could have been corrected.

Nothing to be concerned about, everything works fine! When using our travel trailer's AC power, we have had issues with the batteries being overcharged
5/5

Manufacturer has been contacted and the problem has been resolved. The switch was installed to set up an easy method of disconnecting the batteries whenever we are at RV parks, etc. This was meant as an interim aid, but it will also be handy for storing the trailer when it is Rather than install the switch in the battery compartment, we mounted it directly to the frame. Rather than the bolts that came with it, metal screws needed to be used. Then I sealed the entire structure with black outdoor silicone glue after carving out a notch in one of the side panels for the wiring. You can now use it in both a dusty and wet environment The image is professional and appealing.

A few months ago I used it for about four months and it failed due to a manufacturing defect
3/5

I then turned it and the knob cracked (see arrow in photograph). After I disassembled it, I found a piece of metal that probably caused it to jam The control panel I was using was based around this, so I had to order another. Initially, I was considering disassembling the machine to make sure it's in good shape, although I don't think this one will be the same.
