It can be used alone or in conjunction with other switches. 275 A continuous at DC 12V, 455 A intermittent at DC 12V, 1250 A momentary at DC 12V, On/Off 2 positions. When you turn on the light, you're getting electricity; when you turn it off, you're not getting electricity.

This battery cutoff kill switch has four removable side plates that allow up to 1/0 cables to be accessed. Copper studs and nuts with a tin plating.

This is a bad product that is no longer available

After I got everything set up, I realized the issue was with the battery switch. Regardless of where I turned the switch, it was always in the off position. It appeared to be a low-cost imitation of a good product. Purchase a different product. My project has been pushed back a week due to the installation of a new switch.

a good cut- Switch it off

As a battery cut-off, it was installed in the xwife's Mini Cooper. She rarely drives the car, so there's no need to turn it off. It's fantastic! Even "difficult" people will find it simple to use. When the knob is turned, the switch appears to be solidly constructed and mechanically sound. Wish it wasn't so bright red (in color), as it defeats the purpose of a "security" cut-out. turn off the switch.

What I was looking for

In my fifthwheel, I've been able to isolate my two RV batteries to prevent phantom drains. That has cost me money because I have had to replace batteries far too frequently. It was a good investment.
