is the size of the battery that fits in this? Dimensions do not give the box a tapered shape, even though they are given as overall dimensions. I have a batter that measures 11 x 7 x 8 inches. ?

There are 11x6 cells in my DieHard Gold Battery. I can fit it snugly with a little spare room since it's 75 inches tall and 8 inches wide

The problem is that the box is too flexible, so when I installed it in a slightly unorthodox location, it sagged slightly from the sides and a bit from the top. This mount does not have a level surface for the box, it is warped, and the lid does not fit fully Obviously, they realized this and included a tie down strap for the lid, but it would have been nice if the box had been more rigid across its The 20' of cable is also too short to relocate the battery to the back of a 1989 Toyota Celica, which is an extremely small vehicle. This kit requires additional cable if you have a car that has not been removed from its interior, and presumably, if your car is larger.

It's hard to follow the directions. In the kit, there is almost no mention of the box The bracket is the only thing that is visible. You are not told whether you should run the hold down bolts on the outside or the inside of the box, nor are you informed of how to attach them to the bracket should you run them on the outside. Also, the bracket bolts for holding down the battery are absurdly I have already drilled holes far enough beyond where there are no threads, so they extend far beyond the holes I drilled. There seems to be a lot of space for very large batteries in this kit. In order for this kit to function properly, it must be adjusted significantly.

I like how it works

I bought it for my husband for his Acura Legend so he can install a turbo under the hood. A lot of wire lay in the back of the car and it is comfortable to use.

Packaged well, the product was in good condition. I found the delivery of this item to be extremely fast, the installation of this item relatively simple, including all the parts I needed. I wished the battery box had been built with stronger materials.
