The seller did get in touch with me and replaced the item that was defective. Also, thank you for your consideration of the matter. In addition, they gave me credit for a unit that was defective. br>I have to say, this has changed my mind about this seller. Customer service was excellent, and the replacement item appears to be in good working order.

copper is not one of them. I'm sure they'll do what they're supposed to, but I bought them to power a winch on my hitch. a 40 % reduction in your current using cca cable, a 40 % reduction in your current using cca cable, a 40 % reduction in your My truck is a long bed crew cab, and the charts I looked at showed that I wouldn't be able to fully power my winch at full load. I used both welding cable and male-female connectors in the end. They WILL carry 500 amps when connected, seal well, and lock. These jumper cables, in my opinion, would work well in "normal" situations. I'm not sure if jumping a cold diesel truck is a good idea, and I definitely don't recommend it. It's not something you'd use to jump a semi-truck. br> I can't say enough good things about Anderson connectors, except that the largest one I could find only carries a maximum of 350 amps. I've read that this is a point of contention.

The seller must ensure that their products are usable in the manner that they were advertised. I haven't used the cables yet, but they appear to be sturdy, so I gave them two stars. When I opened the box, however, the bag's zipper was already busted, and the cables were half-way out. According to the reviews, this isn't an isolated incident. I'm not sure why this seller would keep sending such a low-quality bag after being informed of the problem. br>I'd like a new, better bag or at least a partial refund because I'll have to buy a bag to hold the cables if I don't get one. br>The cables appear to be sturdy, and I am hoping that they will function when needed. It makes me wonder how much this seller cares after they continue to send out unusable products. 2 stars because the cables appear to be sturdy.

I haven't had the opportunity to use them yet, but they appear to be quite robust. They're copper-clad aluminum, which should be sufficient for the limited use they'll see. I agree with another reviewer that the spring mechanism in the clamp is pressing against the wire on one side, I guess to keep it from moving, but I could see that wearing through the insulation eventually, so no comment on durability until I use it over time. br>br>Had to knock off one star since original review when one of the rivets on one clamp fell apart. I had to re-assemble the clamp. Put it together. It's all right now, but it could have been avoided with a simple quality control check.

After jumpstarting my car, I realized I needed a basic set of old school cables in addition to the high-tech recharging small set, which is fantastic. When you haven't charged the portable set, however, I always prefer to have a serious set of 20 feet (or longer) cables. This is an excellent set of cables that is both sturdy and strong. (-) the clamps ) are big enough to accommodate your battery's charging poles on both sides. This is an outstanding product.

I had purchased a set similar to these in the late 1980s and decided that I needed something similar but more durable. This absolutely nailed it, and it's even better than the set I paid nearly 65 dollars for. 00 in the 1980s (that was 30 years ago! ) If necessary, this set can easily go from full-size truck to full-size truck. The grips have a very solid feel to them. Any side or top mount battery post should be able to be grabbed and held by the teeth on the sides and front. My previous set was a 5 gauge, so this is a monster at 0 gauge. I like the idea of a case. It would be better if it wasn't made out of plastic. BUT, at this price, it's essentially free, just like the gloves and light, so I can't really complain. When it's dark and you're trying to connect these cables, the light is just right. I would buy one of these bags if they made a more durable, tough carry bag. The local Chevy dealer noticed them and joked that I was planning on jumping semis.

These are heavy and heavy-duty cables, as other reviewers have said. When parked behind the car being jumped, standard cables are usually insufficient to jump a battery. As if you were driving on the highway. Good luck trying to make a u-turn on a busy highway or having someone else do it so the stranded vehicle can be faced for the jump. You're also out of luck with standard cables if there's a narrow shoulder that prevents you from pulling alongside the stranded car. This is no longer a concern thanks to these cables. They're long enough to leap from the stranded vehicle's parking spot. They're also of excellent quality. br> The clamps have a firm grip, and the cables are of high quality, ensuring that all electrical power is transferred. br>It also comes with a carrying case. It may not be of the highest quality, as some reviewers have noted, but if you don't throw it around, it will suffice for cable storage. br>At first, I thought these cables were excessive, but if I or another motorist find myself in a situation where I require long cables of exceptional strength and quality, I won't think these are excessive. br>I keep them in their case in the back seat of my Tacoma, behind the rear storage area. br>I am very pleased with my purchase.

This is a set of thick, dependable cables. Longer cables must always be used. It's better to pay a little more for extra length than to be caught short, which comes in handy if your car's battery dies while parked in a garage. Instead of having to be front to front, this will reach all the way from the back to the front of a vehicle. The zero gauge is ideal for quickly changing voltage. When a battery's voltage is too low, a trickle charger will only read it as 6 volts and will not charge it fully. Because jumper cable clamps don't always open wide enough to easily clamp on battery leads, you'll have to jump the battery until the trickle charger recognizes it as a 12 volt battery. These clamps are quite large and simple to use on battery leads.
