For my base 2008 Prius I purchased this. You can use this battery with the smart key feature of the Prius! According to some reviewers, it is not compatible with cars that do not have smart keys. It's your responsibility to double check that you're buying the right part. Amazon's application app isn't perfect, so you should make sure you're ordering the right part. I have had this battery for over a year, and it is flawless. Avoid these three problems by following these tips. I. 1. A dead battery I bought for Toyota prurii died after 4 months. I think I bought perhaps ten of these batteries. I had to visit the ac delco website to request a replacement when I accessed Amazon to seek a replacement. I filled out the online form to request the replacement. I thought she meant "page not found in web browser" so I am sure this is how she means "no warranty!"! It is my company's sole purpose to service hybrid vehicles.

Someone at Amazon should speak with the maroon who figured that the dimensions of the shipping carton would be helpful to people. I cannot use it on my 2004 Prius because it does not fit. A smart key battery for Prius is sold here (a key that does not have to be plugged in to work). We don't have a smart key on our 2004 Prius, so the key needs to be plugged in for it to work.
