circuits are most certainly compatible with parallel wiring. The six of them are wired in parallel, for equivalent power of 36 amp-hours. I have it in a small teardrop trailer, and it works great. You do not have to use a balanced wiring setup, but it is the best way to wire up batteries in parallel The following link Visit the website. Engineering by Iota. Download the PDF

I'm not sure how good this battery is, so you need to read the specifications. As a result, it can't be used to power high current devices in the same way as lead acid battery. A battery designed for a battery charging rate of 1 is capable of only a single charge and discharge per day. The second paragraph. The charge rate can be increased up to 6A over time, but many fewer discharge cycles will be needed. That's the closest you can get to it. If the battery voltage reaches 14, the internal battery management board automatically turns off the charging. The device will begin discharging when the voltage reaches 6V, and stop when it reaches It should be charged with 14 volts as indicated in the spec sheet. A maximum of 1 amp of current is allowed at 6V. A BMS maximum discharge value is 2A for a lifetime. Limits on BMS discharge are not set at.
Internal battery management systems (BMS) cut off the current when the battery voltage reaches 10V, causing the batteries to display Originally I thought that it was either a recommended cutoff on the datasheet or that the BMS would cut the current and then restart a few seconds later like many other BMS's. There were many comments online stating the drop of voltage to 0V was part of the protection circuit and would not be reversible There is no truth to this! As soon as they reach 10 Volts, these batteries go into a sleep mode and will wake up as soon as a charger applies voltage. I am really glad they offer this feature because that is extremely useful for the application that I am going to use them for--powered, In the future, I will no longer have to worry about overdischarge. If the cells get too low, I can simply let the internal circuitry shut off (obviously not ideal, but it will work in a pinch if I run the batteries for long periods of time). Let's talk about the problem I am using, which is a smart charger for sealed lead acid (SLA) batteries and Lithium ion batteries found in cars, has to detect how much voltage the battery has to start the battery is not woken up by its own voltage and will not send out any new voltage. In order to power the batteries back up, I quickly hooked up a 9v battery to the positive terminal of the battery (a 12v battery would have been better), positive to positive and negative to negative. This supplied the needed voltage to start the BMS and It is estimated that there are about 2 volts remaining on the terminals once more. It was now possible for my smart charger to recognize the battery and charge it as if nothing had happened. As for the battery, it did have 11 volts. A cutoff voltage of 10V results in a voltage drop of 2V. It is not the case that the BMS is defective, rather under load, the voltage will sag to 10V, the cutoff will activate, and when the battery is wakened up, the voltage will once again read the nominal value. A sagging open circuit voltage is caused by the absence of a load. As a whole, I'm very satisfied with the three batteries I bought, which arrived with identical voltages, so I could connect 1 into each of my batteries in parallel. As it is, their power is more powerful than I was expecting and I should easily be able to run my heated gear for over two hours at With their ability to be charged by a standard SLA charger and automatic low voltage cutoff, these batteries make a versatile power source. If you notice a battery has reached the extreme low voltage cutoff, make sure you have a way to wake it up You can use either another battery or one other than that Charging device that is smart. Whether you want to run a series is up to you). During my time on assignment, I powered a heated vest that consumed 5 amps at maximum heat and had five Based on my testing, you can very roughly estimate that each power setting draws 1 amp (setting 1 is 1 amp, setting 2 is 2 amps, etc. ), but the actual current draw is likely higher. The results are as follows 1 for 1
Heat first, heat second At this point, the low voltage cutoff had kicked in around 6. Heat 2 for 3 hours, heat 3 for 2 hours, heat 4 for 2 hours, heat 5 for 5 hours. The heater was running for 5 hours after I turned it on! I really don't deal with that meter). I am pleased with these results, and this set of batteries should be able to power my gear for a number of hours at I have an old review for you Three of these batteries were used as the main batteries for a large battery pack (wired After a quick charge, all three cells stayed around 1, but a short time after their first discharge (powering a heated motorcycle vest at medium heat and about 3 amps) they dropped all the way A voltage of 1 volt was reached and the device ceased to function. The last time I checked the voltage (about 15 minutes before failure), the cells were 12 volts. Despite the high discharge cutoff of 10 volts, the voltage was well above 1 volt. The load was spread out over the batteries, so I had roughly 1 amp on each one, which is in the usual range. On the datasheet, there is a discharge rating of 2 amps. There was never a period when I drained these batteries continuously at the rated rate of 6 amps, and I never hit that when testing them. The batteries I received were extremely disappointing.
It might be fine for other uses, but to call it a motorcycle battery when you need a 30-amp battery is misleading The thing will only crank out 6 amps, and it needs 60 amps just to crank.
The best amp I found seemed to be this one. As long as I could find I could buy LiFEPO4 batteries for less than an hour for a dollar. I decided to buy 4 and wire them in parallel for 24AH of capacity, for our new tear drop camper we made. A balanced wiring scheme (balancing the resistance to each battery) was used to test battery charging, where I charged each battery separately and wired them in parallel. Then, I completely discharged the bank and recharged it again as a battery bank and used a known amp draw to discharge it, and. . . voila, I got over 20 Ah from it without a hitch. There is a lot of energy in these little puppies for their weight and for their dollar. There might be two more to make 36AH in total. Overall, a good product, at least so far. Hopefully they will last a while.
I wired 2 batteries in parallel, and I set my solar controller to stop discharge after 10 seconds of load. The controller stops the load at 2v, so the battery management system puts the batteries to sleep, and then they have to be woken up with a charger before they can be solar charged. The batteries have been doing great since the issue with the charger was resolved, I really appreciate the high density lifepo4 batteries!.
I'm very happy to see that a manufacturer has introduced a product that appears to be a quality one at a reasonable price for my low-current application. There is nothing to worry about, it is NOT the high-speed rail Starting engines is possible with the high-rate versions, and smaller engines can be started with the lower-powered versions. There are waaay too many lithium atoms in the Earth's crust, which makes lithium one of the most abundant elements Because of marketing, the Miady is overpriced, but it is acceptable to the point where you can live with it Pricing up front is a good idea. Ignore everything that happened in 2000-2001 I'm waving my hands on my bike while I'm riding it. The ups and downs There's finally some sense to the front pricing here.
Not worth a 4 star rating Now that we know what we know- As I have not had time to put it through many months/years of ownership to determine if the internal cells are of quality, AND to determine if the internal battery management system is well-engineered. As of right now, I like what I see (although I cannot view internal aspects of it). There are a few basic rules to follow . . . 1) Charge before You need a different battery for your starter. Throughout the course of the next few weeks, I'll update. A brief update My Noco Genius 2 charger works perfectly well with my phone. This newer model of the Noco 2Ah charger is a black, smaller charger that has multiple USB ports It works just fine with the Lifepo4 setting and Chemistry selection on the.
