I'm afraid I won't be able to upload a picture of the resistor installation on my 2003 E320. I'll send it to you if you send me an email address, and you'll be able to figure out what connector is installed.
I'm not sure if it worked on the E320, but it did on mine. When the fan on your air conditioner won't blow, this is the most common cause.
Yes, Behr is standard equipment on the majority of European automobiles.

Symptom:
- The day before, the AC control unit would blow at various speeds and go crazy on its own.
- A dead battery was waiting for me when I awoke. I drove 20 miles to work after a friend jumped in the car. When I got home from work, the car wouldn't start due to a dead battery.
- It was discovered that the blower would continue to run even when the ignition was turned off. Took out the fuse (F33) to turn off the blower for the time being. br>br>I dismantled the passenger side liner on a S500. To remove the cover and the blower, use some common shop tools. A new regulator was installed in place of the old one. Before sealing the cover and replacing the liners, I reinstalled the fan/regulator in the console and tested it. Everything went according to plan. I was able to save a few hundred dollars by not going to a dealer or an independent repair shop. Same-day delivery from Amazon came to the rescue. For the DIY, there is a YouTube video available.
I used the iCarSoft scanner for Mercedes - Benz - Benz - Benz - Benz - Benz - Benz - an additional Amazon purchase - which identified problems with regulators and resistors. I was able to remove the two large screws for the guard under the glove compartment, the four screws for the cover, and the remaining four screws to which the blower is attached using a set of Torx bits. The blower appeared to be in good working condition - I sprayed electronic cleaner on the dusty areas and wiped it away with Q tips. The regulator is held in place by two screws that can be easily removed. The brand of this part is identical to the one that was replaced. The air conditioner now appears to be in perfect working order. The only way to find out is to wait.
My problem was solved thanks to the product I purchased. Two years ago, I replaced the blower because the fan had become warped and had stopped working. The air conditioning stopped working again (not blowing air), and I assumed it was the blower, but after watching some YouTube videos on how to fix it, I discovered that I needed to stop water from leaking into my non-draining water catch reservoir. Before purchasing a regulator and blower ($350-$450), I unplug the reservoir and test my fan to see if it works. 500) on the internet, the blower worked perfectly, and I just got the regulator! By doing it myself, I was able to save several hundred dollars. Two wires should be used to test the blower. They should be connected to the car's battery.
After only one month of use, the motor failed, and the fan had to be replaced as well, so neither the motor nor the fan can be blamed. br>When I first bought it, I noticed the sponge inside was weak, but I didn't think much of it until I saw the old one and realized that's why he should be firm and solid to keep moisture out. br>Unfortunately, I believe the unit I received was already in use or was a return.
My 2007 E550 (W211) was making a strange chirping noise and the A/C blower would only come on half the time, so this worked perfectly.
The original Mercedes Behr unit was identical to this one. Sure beats the Mercedes dealer's asking price of $380! The blower motor, not the regulator, was defective, so I had to return it. To test the output, connect a 12v light bulb to it. As you change the fan speed, the bulb should dim and brighten. Because the light does not draw enough current, the head unit cuts power; however, if you turn the key off and on again after a minute, it will try again. I just assumed it was the regulator because I had to replace one on another Mercedes before, and I also got the blower motor from Amazon. only $85! It's a lot better than dealing with a dealer.
Unfortunately, the first regulator I received did not work, but the company was quick to respond and promptly refunded my money. Without a doubt. resembles the OMEbr>br>br>br>br>br>br>br I'll buy from you again.
With no issues, it performed as expected. I saved $100 by doing the installation myself.
