The splines are physically correct, but the arm may not be pointing in the right direction because of how it is clocked. I tried running this arm on a 79 F250 that had been converted to crosserover steering, but it didn't work. I can't justify the stock directional steering on a 79 F250.
My truck is a Ford F150, and it fits perfectly.

But my perseverance paid off when I discovered it open. Amazon has it in a box. And all for a fraction of the price. To say the least, I'm ecstatic, and even with a 6" lift, it nearly restored my steering angle to factory specifications. My bumpsteer has almost completely disappeared. Thank you, Amazon, for always providing me with what I require. Thank you very much for your excellent work. Mike R.
I called several other companies that offered '4 to 6"' drop pitman arms, but this was the only one that delivered on its promise. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but if you've lifted your truck (in my case, a 1993 Ford Ranger with twin traction beam) 6 to 8 inches in the front, this is the one you'll need for proper steering geometry.
After installing a 6 inch suspension lift, this pitman arm leveled my drag link, giving me perfect geometry.
After installing a 6 inch lift spring, everything worked perfectly and the steering angles were restored to their original state!.
It did a great job on my truck.
It performed as expected.
Used on an obs ford rsk with superduty springs, this is the biggest drop pitman I could find, but it comes at a cost. Truck that has been lifted 5. My steering tie rods were leveled after 5 inches of work.
This worked perfectly for bringing the steering linkage into phase with the TTB front suspension. It's important to remember that removing the old pitman arm from the steering gear box is going to be difficult. After breaking three pullers attempting to remove the original gear box, I decided to replace it. The gear box turned out to be less expensive than purchasing additional tools, and it took about an hour to swap where I had spent days attempting to remove the original pitman arm from the gear box.
