Fits perfectly and is simple to install. It's possible to tell the difference between stiffer and smoother turns. For a basic model, this is a must-have.

For your rsx, this is an excellent upgrade. br>Fitting Suggestion: If you're having trouble installing the mounts, lift up the front of the car.
For the price, this is an excellent purchase. Buy strut bars from a reputable manufacturer rather than a low-cost knockoff.
Is it compatible with Civics from the 2010 model year? I saw this one on Facebook and thought it was pretty cool.
This strut bar appears to have been installed on every previous reviewer's base RSX. A factory brace is not included with the base RSX. The Type-A's factory brace S follows an angled path from the strut towers to the fire wall. I was worried that installing the Tanabe brace would require removing the factory brace. The Tanabe brace ended up fitting perfectly with only minor changes to the factory brace. The Tanabe brace stiffened the structure by triangulating the geometry of the factory brace. br>br>The third image I included shows the driver's side, which did not require any modifications. Only the factory brace's nuts and bolts must be removed before the Tanabe mounts can be installed. After removing the small bracket for the cruise control throttle cable, the passenger side is installed in the first and second pictures. To secure the cable, all I needed was a tie wrap. It took about forty minutes from start to finish to complete the installation. From the initial packing of the box to the final closure of the hood. br>br>At first, I assumed this was a purely cosmetic installation due to the Type-C connector. S was wearing the brace that came with the car. When I drove afterward, I was pleasantly surprised. br>br>3/9/2021br>Just a quick note for Type-A users. S owners. The factory strut bar does not need to be removed in order to install this strut bar. Others I've seen call for the factory bar to be removed, which eliminates the Tanabe bar's triangulation effect. In addition, the Tanabe bar allows for strut bar preloading, which is not possible with other bars. To account for variations, most other strut bars have slotted holes on one side. The Tanabe bar adapts to the changes in the environment and mounts securely.
