Questions & Answers
This sway bar end link is designed to work with a 6" lift kit. This is for my 2000 Silverado 1500 4x4 that I purchased. If you check the Fabtech website to see if your 1997 uses the same 6" lift part as my 2000, you'll be able to tell for sure.
Not sure. I installed it on a 2002 suburban with a 6" lift and a 3" body lift. The fit was identical to my previous one. This item is of excellent quality. It's a lot better than the one I got rid of.
100% only come with one and am furious because it wasn't listed as a single link nowive wasted time and money because the kriptonite links are stronger and cheaper than the kriptonit

On my 2002 Avalanche, I'm using a FabTech 6" kit. These directly replaced my originals, which had finally taken enough abuse after 18 years that one of the mounting screws on one side had snapped. br>br>Each order includes one (1) 9in end link. a 5/16 hex key, four (4) thick rubber bushings, two (2) end caps that serve as washers, and the two (2) screws/bolts that hold it all together br>br>IF YOU NEED TO CHANGE BOTH THE DRIVER AND THE PASSENGER SIDE, YOU MUST BUY TWO KITS. I advise using anti-virus software. The bolts have a seize on them to keep them from becoming too jammed over time. br>br>Overall, a good quality item, and while they will tarnish like my originals, the bolt will break long before the end links. I'm hard on my trucks, so if this product can withstand nearly 20 years of off-road use and abuse without snapping a single bolt, it's a winner in my book. They have my full trust.
I emailed Fabtech for the part number, and they responded in less than five minutes. I've got a 6" Fabtech lift on my 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500 4WD. The top bolt on my original end link had rusted and busted, so I had to cut it off with a sawzall. It was easy to put on and only took a few minutes. I'm thinking of spraying these with rhino liner or something similar to protect them from the salt on PA roads. The hex bolts are my only complaint, but it's a minor one. A few quick pointers. The bushings' ridges or lips go into the control and sway arms, respectively. Maintain a straight line. To get the bolts started, I sat a bottle jack on the control arm and slightly raised the sway. br>Excellent product, except for the fact that it will rust soon.
3 with a fantastic lift of 6"!.
Good solid product, exactly what I needed, fits all half-ton Chevys from that generation, 04 Chevy Avalanche (6" lift). I recommend painting or sealing the metal in some way to prevent corrosion, which is why I'm replacing it.
The item is not made of stainless steel as advertised.
Good quality at a low price, and easy to set up.
It is a perfect fit. Ford F-150, year 2003 Fabtech 6" lift kit on a 150 4x4.
Just remember to refer to part when doing so.
