I was able to get a much better handling setup than I had with the stock suspension

It really is not an issue with the bolts. It was grade 10 bolts that I got. My personal preference would have been for them to be longer. Wouldn't hurt to extend it by at least a quarter of an inch. As I mentioned, they are perfectly functional.
