On my 2016 JKU, I used this to replace the stock stabilizer. Because it is longer than the stock stabilizer, I had to move the mount out further to accommodate it. With my 35" tires, it works well. It is simple to put together. If you don't move the mount out a couple of inches, you'll notice that your steering isn't fully locked.
2000 Ford Excursion was a good vehicle.
This is what I used to replace my old steering stabilizer. Up until I switched it out, I had a slight shimmy/shake while driving down the expressway. She's been driving a lot tighter since then. It was very simple to put together. I just returned from a 1000-mile road trip with no problems.
Without a doubt, it's much bigger than the OEM. Much more reliable.
I received a scratched-up, used stabilizer that was missing its hardware. Do not purchase.
Everything was exactly as described, and it was a heavy-duty purchase that I would make again.
