The use of silicone does not harm rubber or disintegrate it, in fact, it is suggested. The white grease in certain lithium based products can do damage to certain rubber products.

The bushings should be of good quality. Comes with all of the necessary hardware. There you can order a pair of them. It is only possible to order 2 orders to cover both left and right so you need 2 orders to cover both. For all four corners, use two or four pieces of paper. As I was replacing my bad shocks, I bought these shocks for my 1996 Civic Hatchback. To put it back in again is a bit of a pain. While I debated using the old bushings, the old ones are so badly worn that I am just going to deal with the tough job of installing these new ones. After assembling the old shock with all hardware except for the coil springs, I assembled it in the car. They were pretty well tightened and I left them like that over night. It made these bushings settle in a little. Newness is a good thing. They are taller and harder than used bushings and you won't be able to put the locking screw on the damper piston to lock everything in place once you've assembled the bumpstop, bellows, washers, coil spring, mounting plate/insulator.
The bearing or mounting plate is not shown here. The bushings that go into the mounting plate are this product. If you want to see what SM5058 is, search to see what it really is. As for the product itself, the bushings, they were easy to install and appeared to be high In my opinion, the only issue I had was that the two bushings in the set are slightly different, without a description of why or if one must go on the top of the bearing plate, one on the bottom, or if it does not matter which one. There used to be a picture of a mount plate in the review, so ignore that part. As of this writing, the product has been in service and is performing well.
As a result, it was very difficult to assemble the struts since only a few threads were available to attach the top nuts. If torqued down to their original thickness, they will again compress to their original thinness. Allerdings, on the rears there were no threads visible anywhere on the shaft for the nut to be attached. With a razor blade, I cut off the lip at the top of the bushing and then had enough threads for the nut to be easily screwed on and torqued.
It would be helpful if you removed the picture of this item and replaced it with the correct one as soon as possible. In this case, you will get two very tiny rubber bushings in the center of the pictured part. These are not worth a dime and can do nothing to solve the As shown in the picture, the entire unit needs to be replaced. Price ranges for the unit are from $25 to $45. This product contains the rubber bushings for the top hat, the metal rings for the bushings, the washer for the bottom that goes on the strut shaft, and the washer for the top. It is a manufacturer of original equipment parts As far as quality is concerned, I like this, but I don't like how expensive it can get if you need to buy four sets.
If you get a kit separately, make sure it meets your needs. Although the strut is of superb quality, it comes with a mounting kit as well. While it was listed as not having a dishwasher. Therefore, I have some extra kits at the moment, for no reason at all.
The rear struts on my 2000 Honda CRV are replacing these. Despite the fact that the originals were still intact, I might as well use them since I bought They have a lot of thickness since they are brand new. It was impossible to thread on the strut nut since there was no thread left exposed when these were used. It did not work even after I clamped them down with a "C" clamp. Unfortunately, it didn't work. I didn't think to check if the original Honda struts had more thread, but maybe they did. (Install new KYB struts) The clock was ticking, and I had not yet installed Keep the originals as they are. It would be very difficult to get these unless absolutely necessary. If you did not disassemble your old strut, you probably wouldn't know this.
You didn't send me this! It's nothing like what I expected. My opinion is that this was false advertising since I had to pay more money when I bought this strut mount kit since it was stated on your web page that it was for my vehicle. So I go to your new page and I see that you have changed it.
