Quick, simple, and a perfect fit are three words that come to mind when describing this product This hood gas strut was exactly what I needed - as well as rapidly - on my Cadillac SRX, which was manufactured in 2006

The hood could no longer be supported by the original OE strut. Using a 1 straight-cut, the old strut was quickly unhooked. This Sachs strut was installed (top and bottom) in less than 10 seconds using a slot screwdriver. You're overpaying if you have someone replace your sagging gas hood struts.
